4. IBSF RULES some information IBSF Ranking The IBSF Ranking is created once the 1 st World Cup in the specific discipline has been conducted. Therefore an IBSF ranking exists in 2-men, 4-men, women s bobsleigh, skeleton men and skeleton women. Each IBSF ranking takes into consideration the best ranking and therefore points of each pilot/athlete in all series where he/she has been participating. The maximum number of events been counted is the same as the number of World Cup races finished by that time. The IBSF combined ranking shows only pilots who have been participating in 2-men and 4-men. Why is the IBSF Ranking important? The IBSF Ranking of the previous season determines the Quotas for each National Federation to participate in the World Cup, in addition also for the Intercontinental Cup in Skeleton.
