CELTIC CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018 FEIS RULES 1 Registered with An Comhdhail Muinteoiri Na Rinci Gaelacha. 2 The Adjudicators decision is final. Any objections must be submitted through a teacher to Feis Organiser together with the required fee of 7.00. Objections MUST be raised prior to the announcement of results. 3 The Feis Committee has the right to amend the programme if necessary. 4 Ages are taken as of 1st January 2018 5 Dancers up to and including U9 may not wear solo costume 6 Dancers in BEGINNERS A or B competitions must wear class costumes or skirt/blouse etc. wearing solo costumes will not be permitted to dance and their entry fee will NOT be refunded. 7 Dancers may only dance in the OWN AGE GROUP, except where a particular dance is not catered forin their own age group. This is applicathey may only dance up one age 8 In FIGURE DANCING 50% of team must be of the specified age group. Others may dance up. 9 Dancers must compete in one open competition to be eligible to dance the championship 10 Under CHOMHDHAIL FEISIANNA RULES, there is to be NO CHANGING OF COSTUMES IN THE COMPETITION HALLS. 11 NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEO CAMERAS to be used EXCEPT during presentations. 12 Our floors are of an excellent standard - DANCERS DANCE AT THEIR OWN RISK. 13 SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED anywhere in the school. 14 All dancers must appear in FULL COSTUME FOR PRIZE GIVING 15 Numbers must be worn in the middle 16 Beginner Trophy- Dancers must have performed in either the Beg Reel, Soft, Single or Slip Jig. Competitors must be in Beginners A or B for the dance they perform in the Trophy Dance 17 Pre Open Trophies- Any dance (except Treble Reel or Trad Set) must be P/O for the dance they perform and have competed earlier in the section. 18 Children upto and including the age of 12 are prohibited from wearing facial makeup. ALL dancers are prohibited from wearing any form of glitter in their faces.
