LOCATION The Competition will take place at the STADIUM Arena Fyn in the exhibition complex in Odense Congress Center, which is only 7 km from centre of Odense. Address: Ørbækvej 350, DK-5220 Odense SØ, Phone + 45 6556 0100, www.occ.dk The STADIUM Arena Fyn and Hall A in the exhibition complex Odense Congress Center will be transformed in a fully equipped shooting range in respect with ESC and ISSF Rules. There will be a total of 80 firing lines complete, Final hall with 20 electronic targets and 4 running targets. The venue can be reached: By car: - From West/South/North - Highway E45/E20 Kolding Odense - From East - Highway E20 København (Copenhagen) Odense. - By train: København (Copenhagen) Odense railway station. By plane: COPENHAGEN (CPH) as official airport 160 km.
ARRIVAL, ASSISTANCE, AIRPORT PICK-UP The official Airport is COPENHAGEN (CPH). Round trip transportation to/from the official hotels will be arranged by the Organizing Committee at the fee of Euro 75.00 per person. The service will be effective as from 25th February. All the delegations will be assisted to dispatch the Police and Customs procedure, and escorted to the bus or train. The O.C. will examine eventual requests for assistance and/or transportation from/to the other airports whenever possible, and provided that the applications are presented well in advance. The cost for that transportation will be at the delegation s expense. All the transportation services requested in the Arrival Forms, not cancelled at least 7 (seven days) before arrival, will be applicable by the O.C. according to the number of passengers appearing in the Arrival form, for which the service has been required. No assistance or transportation will be provided to the participants who are not accommodated at the official hotels. Teams arriving before or leaving after the official days will have to make their own arrangements. The O.C. can organise assistance and/or transportation at the delegation s expense.
VISAS European Union Nationals will be able to enter in Denmark with a valid Passport. Non European Union participants are advised to check the matter of visa well in advance and ask. for a support to the O.C. filling in the appropriate Visa Support Form. IMPORT FORMALITIES All documents necessary for the temporary import of firearms and ammunition is a copy of the firearms and ammunition form and the official invitation. Please fill in the firearms and ammunition form for each team travelling together. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION The Organising Committee will provide for all participants free transportation between the range and the officials hotels as from 25th February. Any participants not accommodated at the official hotels will be responsible for their own transport. ENTRY PROCESS Final Entries for Shooters and for Officials must be made by online registration at: http://entry.issf-sports.info All other forms must be sent to the Organising Committee. ISSF ID Number According to ESC and ISSF General Regulations, all shooters must have an ISSF ID Number before participation in any ISSF supervised competition or Championship.
ACCOMMODATION The delegations will be accommodated at selected 3*** star hotel from 77 EUR and 4**** star hotels from 95 EUR located in a distance up to 10 km from the Odense Congress Center. A very limited number rooms with 2** star will be available from 60 EUR. All the hotels are facilitated with restaurant. Rates are per person per day and include continental buffet breakfast. Reservations and payment must be made through OC. Breakfast is included in the accommodation. Extra cost must be settled directly with the hotels. All the hotels are facilitated with restaurant. ACCREDITATION The reception and accreditation for all participants and guest will be organised at the Shooting Range, where payment of the entry fees and hotel accommodation will take place. All expenses have to be paid in EURO. Please note that the amount must free of bank services. The payment must be made in advance FIREARMS, AMMUNITION and EQUIPMENT STORAGE ROOM A firearms, ammunition and equipment storage room will be located near the firing lines within the venue structure. DOPING Doping Controls will be conducted in accordance with the current ISSF Doping Regulations under the supervision of an ESC Doping Control Officer. A minimum of three (3) doping tests on the medal winners, will be conducted in each event. For additional tests please refer to ISSF Anti Doping Rules 5.6.5 MEDIA Media Relations: All media representatives in the ESC countries will be invited through the ESC member countries. Onsite media facilities: The Press room is equipped with all the facilities required.
CEREMONIES The Opening Ceremony will take place at the range on 26th February. The Closing Ceremony will be held on 3rd March immediately after the Award Ceremony. A closing banquet will follow. NATIONAL ANTHEM AND FLAG Each delegation is required to provide its own national anthem and two (2) flags (1x1.5 m approx.) needed for ceremonies and prize awards.
