Travel by coach You will travel to resort in an executive coach; all our coaches have toilet facilities, are a maximum of seven years old and are contractually fitted with seat belts. All the coaches we use are licensed by the UK Ministry of Transport and must be serviced and equipped for winter Alpine operation. The drivers will have experience of continental driving.
When you arrive Your Resort Representative will meet you at your hotel and help you get settled into your rooms Time to go to the ski hire shop and collect your equipment!
Heiligenblut The village of Heiligenblut nestles at the foot of Austria s highest mountain the Grossglockner. The small village features a range of amenities including shops and leisure facilities, whilst the resort itself offers covetable doorstep skiing. Skiers can enjoy slopes on Heiligenblut s two interlinked mountains, connected via a mountain tunnel Supported by 50+ snow cannons making up for any shortfall in snow Nursery slopes are close to the hotel with a variety of more challenging runs stretching over 40km of piste

Hotel JGH Heiligenblut Located in the heart of the village a short walk from the resort centre and the Schareck gondola. Specifically designed for youth groups with rooms sleeping between 2-7 guests. Most of the well-appointed spacious rooms feature private facilities. The hotel features various communal spaces for guests to enjoy, including 2 dining rooms and a TV/DVD room.

Itinerary Friday 15 th February - No school uniform! - Bring your suitcase to school and leave it in the store room off the hall. - Lessons 1 4 as usual You need your stuff for those lesson including PE kit if required - At lunch time, come down to the hall and collect bags and meet at the front of school - We will leave as soon as possible to get a head start on half term and rush hour traffic. - Bring a packed lunch as we probably won t stop until we get to Dover - Food is available on the Ferry but this will be a very late lunch
Itinerary Saturday 16 th February - Arrive at some point and settle in Probably mid afternoon - Ski Fit - Relax
Itinerary Sunday 17 th Wednesday 20 th - Early start Breakfast - Ski school normally starts at about 9-2½ hours of skiing - Lunch (about 12) Hot food in a local restaurant - 2½ hours of skiing - Back to the hotel for dinner - Après ski Activity / Film / Free time at hotel
Itinerary Thursday 21 st February - Breakfast and skiing as usual - Back to the hotel to for dinner, change, shower and final packing - Leave as soon as possible after dinner Friday 22 nd February - Arrive in Calais in the morning for the ferry to Dover - Call home when about an hour away - Arrive at Sydenham at about 2:00
What to pack Ski jacket Ski trousers/salopettes (1 pair) Thermal base layers (2 sets) Fleeces/Hoodies Ski gloves (1 pair) Ski hat Ski socks (2-3 pairs) Goggles Sunscreen & Lip protection Rucksack? Warm, comfortable shoes/boots for the evenings (ideally waterproof)
What NOT to pack A new outfit for every night Any shoes that are not sensible Huge quantities of cosmetics and makeup Hair dryers, straighteners, curlers etc Remember we have one coach!
