8:30p 12u 1. Home team is listed first 2. Game time is 70 minutes - 1 hr and 10 minutes. No new inning after 1hr and ten. Home will bat last. Games will end tied. Home team should report score to Salem Recreation. 3. Pitching Distance is 10u 35 feet. Ball size is 11' 12u 40 feet, 12 inch ball. - Salem City will supply a Synthetic ball. Teams may use a their own leather ball, but must allow both teams to use it. 4. Inning Mercy rule; 6 runs in a inning. Final play is live. More than six runs can score. 5. Game ending Mercy rules: 15 after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings & 8 runs after 5 inn. 6. Batting line. teams may bat all player present. This will allow free defensive subs. If a coach does not bat all players, proper substitution rules will be required for that team. 7. 3 outfielders on Defense. Teams will be allowed free defensive substations. 8. Infield fly rule will be used. 9. Pitchers may use ASA or High School Federation pitching requirements. A step back is ok. 10. Base runners may advance on a past ball or after the pitch has left the pitchers hand. 11. Batters may run on a dropped third strike within the 3rd strike requirments. 12. Speed up runners are allowed for the catcher. The last out will run for the catcher. 13. Once the pitch secures the ball in the pitcher circle the baserunners must immediatly commit to a base.
