PROCEDURE: Step 1: Locate the bridge hose (above) or connector (two lower photos) in the aft storage areas in port and starboard sides. (Repeat the following steps on both sides. The surg bags are for the port and starboard rear tanks only; this does not include the center tank.)
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 2) Step 3: Disconnect the bridge hose (arrow). Place the bridge or connector in the boat glovebox in case the bag is ever removed. The bridge or connector must be reintalled at that time. IMPORTANT: If water had been added to the ballast system prior to this installation, it is extremely critical that the water has been removed from the system prior to this installation procedure. Otherwise, water may flood the storage compartment.
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 3) Step 4: Place the ballast bag in the storage area with the center connection facing up and the lower connection toward the aft of the boat. Step 5: Connect the longer pre-installed hose to the lower, aft outlet.
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 4) Step 6: Connect the shorter pre-installed hose to the center, top outlet on the bag. Step 7: Smooth the bag, removing crimps or wrinkles, so that the bag fits within the storage area.
Steps 8 through 13 are for the 7 screen; Steps 14 through 19 are for the 4.3 screen. (Pre-Plumbed - Page 5) 7 Screen Step 8: Move to the dash. Power ON the boat and allow the video screen to boot. On either the 4.3 or 7 screen (as equipped), tap the MENU button.. Step 9: Tap USER SETTINGS (upper left blue icon).
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 6) Step 10: Tap NEXT to proceed to the next screen. Step 11: Tap BALLAST SETTINGS to move into the ballast timer screen.
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 7) Step 12: Adjust the timers to the fill times provided for the model as shown on the following chart. Step 13: After the times are set, tap BACK until the MENU screen reappears. 4.3 Screen Step 14: Tap the MENU key to pull up the menu selections. Step 15: Press SELECT to choose USER SETTINGS.
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 8) Step 16:Tap the button for NEXT PAGE. Step 17: Tap the soft key DOWN arrow until the selected highlight is BALLAST SETTINGS PAGE. Press SELECT.
(Pre-Plumbed - Page 9) Step 18: Adjust the timers to the setting provided in the table which follows. Step 19: Press BACK twice to get back to the main menu screen. DUE TO THE STRINGENT REQUIREMENTS REGARDING WEIGHT LIMITS ON EACH MODEL, AN ADDITIONAL CHART IS INCLUDED SHOWING WHAT THE ADDED WEIGHT TOTALS ARE WITH FULL BALLAST. FOR SAFETY AND TO PREVENT THE BOAT FROM BEING SUBJECT TO SINKING, ENSURE THAT CONSUMERS UNDERSTAND THIS WEIGHT MUST BE INCLUDED IN CALCU- LATING TOTAL WEIGHT.
