As PGA Golf professionals it is our mission to inspire your children to maximise their potential and become lifelong golfers. Through our program we endeavour to deliver the information, knowledge and opportunity to maximise your children's rate of development and also enjoyment from the game. We pride ourselves on the fact that our program offers unparalleled opportunity for children to learn, practice and compete which helped us to be voted the Number 1 Junior Program at The Middle East Golf Awards but also makes us the best value too. Your feedback matters to us and we are Guaranteeing Success Our goal is to help your children become talented golfers. In order to ensure that your child gets the most out of the program please follow these tips that from our experience maximise improvements of our golfers: Be sure to join the whatts app group for your child s class to stay updated on key information. Attend all sessions to maximise your child s learning time. Come to at least one supervised practice session per week and if possible take part in as many of our Playing Thursdays as possible. This gives children the chance to mix with children of higher abilities and pick up more advanced techniques. Be sure to take your 30 minute lesson to get one on one tuition from a golf professional to accelerate your child s progress. Attend tournaments that are included within the term and if possible as many additional tournaments as possible Come to sessions early and practice on the putting green before class starts Take your children to one of the professional golf tournaments that happen through the year- The DP World Tour Championship is the best for families, is free entry and has the best players in the world playing!
Ability Levels Overview Golf DXB works on a combined age and ability level system allowing children to progress alongside children at a similar level of development to themselves. Below is an overview of our ability level system Blue Level Demonstrate the different techniques used between putting and full swings Create enough speed to be able to use a light metal golf club Term Cost: AED1000 3-5 year olds Yellow: Understand and demonstrate distance control both on the green and around the green Hit full swing shots consistently over 50 yards Average 5 shots or less from the back tees of the short golf course 6-13 year olds Term Cost: AED1680 Black: Play regular 9 hole competitions or rounds Achieve a score of 50 or under from the full length 9 hole course Ready to achieve an official EGF handicap Term Cost: AED2205 6-15 year olds 2 hour classes Red Level Understand the basic fundamentals of the swing including grip, stance, posture and basic swing technique Apply these basic techniques from the front tees of the short golf course 6-13 year olds Term Cost: AED1000 White: Hit full swing shots consistently over 100 yards Achieve a score of 21 or under over 6 from the back tees of the short golf course Understand how to alter your stance for various slopes for both full swings and short game shots Term Cost: AED2205 6-15 year olds 2 hour classes 3-5 years 6-16 years Green: Understand the different techniques for a full swing, pitch, chip and putt Apply these various techniques from the back tees of the short golf course Average 6 shots or less from the back tees of the short golf course Term Cost: AED1575 6-13 year olds Silver: Develop a pre shot routine for all areas of the game Hit full swing shots consistently over 150 yards with the driver Achieve a score of 40 or under in a silver level tournament from a modified course Term Cost: AED2205 6-15 year olds 2 hour classes Orange Level Understand the different techniques for a full swing, pitch, chip and putt Apply these various techniques from the front tees of the short golf course 3-5 year olds Term Cost: AED1575 Purple: Understand how to play different short game shots including a bunker shot Hit full swing shots consistently over 70 yards Average 4 shots or less from the back tees of the short golf course 6-13 year olds Term Cost: AED720 *Note Term Cost is based on a 12 weeks term, terms of reduced length will be adjusted on a prorata basis accordingly
What Is Included In A Term? Beginner Levels About These Levels Our get into golf ability levels are blue level for 5-3 year olds and red level for 9-6 year olds. The aim of this program is to give children a fun introduction to the game and a solid understanding of fundamentals to build upon. Term Includes 1 hour per week coaching session 12 Week Term Cost: AED1000 Development Levels About These Levels Our development levels are orange for 5-3 year olds and green level for 13-6 year olds. In these levels children build on the progress made in the Get Into Golf levels by gaining a thorough understanding of the fundamentals and also a basic understanding of the movements required for golf s main shot types. Term Includes 1 hour per week coaching session 1 x 6 hole tournaments per term 3 x 1 supervised practice sessions per week 1 x 30 minute private golf lesson 1 x Golf DXB shirt 1 x Golf DXB cap 12 Week Term Cost: AED1575
Intermediate Levels About These Levels In our intermediate levels children aim to develop consistency in all aspects of the game. Children should be able to consistently get into a good set up position for all shot types and demonstrate the ability to execute all of this shots with a degree of control and consistency. To graduate from these levels children should be able to play a par 3 course in scores of 5 or better with hole lengths of 60-50 yards. Term Includes 1 hour per week coaching session 2 x 9 hole tournaments per term on a Par 3 course 3 x 1 supervised practice sessions per week 1 x 30 minute private golf lesson 1 x Golf DXB shirt 1 x Golf DXB cap 12 Week Term Cost: AED1680 Advanced Levels About These Levels In our advanced levels a strong focus is placed on in swing principles to develop the mechanics to perform consistently. Children in white level should be able to negotiate a par 3 course with 100 yard hole lengths in scores of 5 or better. Silver level players should be able to play a modified tees golf course in score of no more than 2 than par with the view to obtaining a handicap from standard tees when moving to black level. Term Includes 2 hour per week coaching session 2 x 9 hole tournaments per term (white level- par 3 course, silver and black- full size course) 3 x 1 supervised practice sessions per week 1 x 30 minute private golf lesson 1 x Golf DXB shirt 1 x Golf DXB cap 12 Week Term Cost: AED2205
Term Information September Extension Our September extension is an add on to Term 1 that allows children keen to get straight back into the game after the summer break. This extension is typically 4 weeks in duration running from early September with children involved the continuing into Term 1. Sessions during the September extension are late afternoons and early mornings to avoid the warmer weather. Term 1 Term 1 begins from the last week of September and runs for 12 consecutive weeks up until mid December. For Green and Orange level there is one tournament included within the term cost. For Yellow, White, Silver and Black Level there are 2 tournaments included within the term cost and also the opportunity to play in 4 additional tournaments. Term 2 Term 2 kicks off early January and runs for 12 consecutive weeks up until the spring holidays at the end of March. For Green and Orange level there is one tournament included within the term cost. For Yellow, White, Silver and Black Level there are 2 tournaments included within the term cost and also the opportunity to play in 4 additional tournaments. Term 3 Term 3 starts from Early April, tor White Black and Silver level children Term 3 runs for 12 weeks until the end of June. For All other levels term 3 runs for 8 weeks until the end of May. Sessions in term 3 are late afternoons and early mornings to avoid the warmer weather. In term 3. For Red and Orange level there is one tournament included within the term cost. For Yellow, White, Silver and Black Level there are 2 tournaments included within the term cost. June Extension For children in beginner and development levels looking to continue honing their games up until the summer break we have a four week extension program in June with sessions running early morning and late evening to avoid the warmer weather.
