State Final Entry Fees: You pay $47.00 per contestant to enter State Finals not per event. This is a $40.00 contestant fee, $2.00 office charge, $5.00 liability insurance fee. There is NO go round jackpot fee in this. Shooters will have 2 go regional at shooting range. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Optional $50.00 Jackpot per Event This will be paid out on the 2 long go s only, $25.00 per round, places to be determined by # of entries. Jackpot will be paid out to only those that enter the jackpot. Example: If the 1 st place person did not enter the jackpot it will roll down to the first person that DID pay to enter that person will receive 1 st place jackpot $$. This is the like the optional jackpot that is offered at the national finals rodeo.

INFORMATIONAL SHEET AHSRA - STATE FINALS RODEO POINT SYSTEM - will be explained in detail at meeting. You are allowed to take 75% of total possible year pts. into State Finals meaning this year it is 220 pts. x 75% = 165 total. Rulebook requires we offer 10 more pts. at State Finals. Team Roping = add header/heeler together to declare TEAM total. Team roping points are doubled. The following will be breakdown. TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE AT FINALS - 175 pts. (as of right now) 1st go - 15 pts. / 2nd go - 15 pts. / Short-Go 15 pts / Average - 20 pts. / / = 65 (Bonus 110 pts. these pts. will not affect any positions just my paperwork for national office) SCHOLARSHIPS - Senior s selected from applications will be presented on Sat. night. SADDLES - Champion of each event - All-Around Boy & Girl BUCKLES - State Final Average Winner PLUS Top (4) Qualifiers in each Event All Around Boy & Girl - Rookie Boy & Girl (Year End) GO-ROUND AWARDS - Each event - each go round - 1st go, 2nd go, Short-go JACKETS - To be given to all National Qualifiers. Put size on entry form! PATCHES - To be given to all State Final Contestants plus Top 15 Event patches HORSE OF THE YEAR - Awards girl/boy given by NHSRA National Sponsor. SENIOR PRESENTATION - All seniors entered at State Finals recognized Saturday 6:30 (If you are a senior but not entered - see Anita for participation at presentation) STALLS - $80.00 week per horse, no panels or tying to trailers. Stall form in your packet SHAVINGS FSF sells all shavings at $7.00 per bag no outside shavings allowed RV s - $80.00 week, forms for RV in your packet. Splits / Ties 15 minutes to decide to compete/duplicate or flip for 1 st place only. AWARDS GUIDE LINES STATE FINALS: Participation Award (whatever committee decides for every contestant at State Finals). Short Go patches for top 15 in each event you participate in. Buckles 1-4 places (plus any ties for fourth place). State finals average buckles. Plus go round awards for winners in each event. Saddles or Certificates to year end Champion. (Ride off all ties or decide to get another saddle between parents within 15 minutes of completion of finals). NATIONAL FINALS CONTESTANTS: (travel team) Team shirt to be handed out at finals before pictures. (must attend finals). Team jackets to be handed out at finals before pictures. (must attend finals). Travel check to contestant at team meeting to be determined. (must attend finals). Must compete at national finals (two go rounds unless hurt in 1 st round. This means contest NOT qualify. Definition: This means if you qualify and don t go to finals you aren t a contestant so you don t receive travel team awards!

NATIONAL QUALIFIERS - TOP 4 EACH EVENT If you are NOT going to the National Finals for sure - tell Anita immediately after short-go. SUNDAY, PRESENTATION AWARDS & NATIONAL SIGNUP - 8:00 AM (Building On Grounds) Top 4 in each event will need to be prepared for signing up and making deposits for motels, camping, and horse stalls. You will need a parent to be there for signatures. AHSRA will pay for horse stalls of only the events you qualify in - JACKPOT HORSE STALLS ARE EXTRA AND NO GUARANTEE TO BE STALLED WITH CONTESTANT HORSES. Jackpot/Extra Stalls $236.00 per horse. TRAVEL FUND MONEY - will be distributed at the Arkansas Team Meeting on Sunday morning prior to National Team meeting at Rock Springs. You have to go to the National finals to receive this money. MANDATORY TO STAY FOR BOTH RUNS <<<<<<< --------------------- TEAM JACKETS - will be distributed to all national qualifiers!!. HOTELS You will be provided a list of available motels you will book your own. CAMPING: Each State will initially receive 21 camp sites Anita will have signup and do a draw if needed. We have two camping options. Prices listed are for the entire time period of noon July 12 through noon July 18. 1. Full Service: $345.00 (includes 5% sales & 2% lodging tax) for entire rodeo- 50 Amp - water, sewer & electricity. NEED 50 AMP ADAPTERS & MUST TAKE EXTRA, EXTRA SEWER HOSE 2. Tent: $108.00(??)(includes 5% sales & 2% lodging tax) for entire rodeo- Tents only. No campers Restroom & Shower facilities available. All tent camping is in the Pilot Butte Campground. Any extra family/grandparents wanting camping spot must sign up at this time on Sunday morning! CAMPERS and RENTAL HOMES are available to rent locally by placing an ad in the local newspaper with your specifications. (Number of adults, etc.) Request ad to be placed in the WANT TO RENT/LEASE section. There are 2 ways to make contact: 1. Online: www.rocketminer.com This is the best way.
