RUBBER GAME #16--Today s game will be the fourth rubber game between KC and the Tigers this year, with KC taking 2 of the previous 3...the Royals earned series-deciding wins at The K on June 12 with a 3-2 come-from-behind win in 10 innings as well as a 5-2 triumph a week ago today in KC...Detroit s 6-3 win here on August 18 clinched the expanded 5-game series for the Tigers...this is the Royals 16th rubber game of the season, with Kansas City posting a 9-6 record to this point, including 5-5 on the road.
