Review: Tournament DVD s were approved at previous meeting IV. Open Forum. a. VFW is contributing $3,000 towards jerseys for the Bantam A/VFW team. b. Wounded Warriors: Interested in coming back to DL next year ( Mike Denardo looking at scheduling options) i. See Coaching Committee Section (O,iii) for more details c. Pee Wee Tournament review i. Concession sales were good ii. Some miscellaneous comments regarding roughness of play during tournament iii. Good showing (3 of the top 10 teams in state competed) d. Younger levels interacting with Older levels (i.e. Squirts participating in Warm ups w/ Bantams) i. Squirts to warm up with Bantams on Friday December 18 ii. VI IX. New Business. a. Stay to Play offer (Motion to review contract: Branson, 2 nd Larson). i. Involves annual contract to promote local Hotels as part of Stay and Play requirement for Home Tournaments b. Casey Rooney still wants to do his stick handling clinic on Tuesdays. i. Not at this time. Maybe in the future. c. Blackout week reminder, 12/21-27. No games scheduled, and attendance at practice required only if you are in town. d. New PA System in Arena 2, $6,700. Cost sharing by Al Boehne. i. Al Boehne to donate his salary for 3 years to alleviate costs. ii. Need to add labor cost for hanging speakers and wiring/cables iii. Request bid from competitor to compare options e. Amendment to Coaching reimbursements for 2015/2016 season only i. 3 rd Coaches room to be covered for U12A and Squirt A teams for travel tournaments 1. 3 Squirt Teams x 2 coaches = 6 coaches rooms 2. No U10 team this season = 2 fewer rooms than prior years, thus add 1 to U12A 3. banner pics banner pics Scott Lysford 11/03/15 Photos To: Jeff Stowman Jeff/Hockey Board A few years ago I did banner photos for each of the youth hockey teams. If interested please let me know and I can coordinate for taking team photos and then place those photos into a team banner. I do not charge for the set up or production and will offer 13 x 19 inch banner photos to the parents for $25 each. I usually go to the Trophy House to produce the team banner that can be hung in the Arena lobby and also taken on the road for team tournaments.
