WELCOME Thank you for choosing the Wells Fargo Championship as we host our 14th event at beautiful Quail Hollow Club, May 2-8, 2016 in Charlotte, NC. We look forward to hosting you and providing the amenities that make you feel welcome as well as accommodate your needs. This handbook contains many of the tournament details and information you will need either prior to your arrival or during the event. If you cannot find the information you need, please contact me or Kym Hougham (704.400.4939) at any time. During the tournament our Caddie Co-Chairmen, Tom Nelson and Stan Alt will be available to assist you in the Caddie Tent daily. For your convenience, a Hotel Caddie Shuttle will be provided from the caddie hotel (Four Points Sheraton in Pineville) to Quail Hollow Club daily beginning at 5:30am until 9pm. We encourage you to take advantage of this service and be dropped-off/picked-up directly in front of the Caddie Tent. We will also provide an Airport Caddie Shuttle on Sunday, May 8 from Quail Hollow Club only in front of the Caddie Tent, beginning at noon until 9pm. Breakfast and lunch buffets as well as afternoon snacks will be provided daily in the Caddie Tent including grilled items on the patio. The shower trailer will be located behind the Caddie tent. A shower care package is available upon request. The Caddie Dinner will be held on Tuesday, May 3 at Longhorn Steakhouse in Pineville. Additional details are outlined in this handbook. We are here to assist you throughout the week and trust you will call on us if you need anything. We hope you enjoy your time with us. GENERAL INFORMATION Amenities of Caddie Headquarters include: Towel distribution/collection at the Driving Range each day at the end of the round along with the caddie bibs Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snacks will be provided daily in the Caddie Tent Assorted beverages, fresh fruit and cable television The Restroom/Shower Trailer will be located behind the Caddie Tent (a shower care package is available upon request) CREDENTIALS Your PGA TOUR credential will be your tournament credential for the week. If you do not have a current PGA TOUR credential, please contact Gwen in the Tournament Office at (704) 554-8029 for assistance. Each caddie will receive two (2) Weekly Grounds Ticket Booklets at registration. Any additional requests for tickets, badges, etc. must be made through the Caddie Master and approved by Kym Hougham, Executive Director. EVACUATION If inclement weather is apparent, the starters at the 1st and 10th tee will hand out evacuation procedures. In case of severe weather, Caddies will be relocated into the lower level cart barn. FINANCE The Finance Office (704-507-3613) will be located in the Tournament Office, which is located near the Media Center. Finance will be open thirty (30) minutes prior to the first tee time through thirty (30) minutes after the completion of play each day. FIRST AID AND MEDICAL SERVICES MED-1, provided by Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), is located in the front corner of the east main parking lot. GENERAL INFORMATION GOLF Caddies may play golf for free (based on space availability) at The Golf Club at Ballantyne, which is located off I-485 (exit #61). Please call (704) 248-4383 for available tee times. You must identify yourself as a Professional PGA TOUR Caddie by showing your PGA TOUR official credential in order to obtain a tee time. PARKING Caddie parking will be in the Clubhouse Parking Lot at Quail Hollow Club. All cars in the Clubhouse Parking Lot will be valet parked each day. Your PGA TOUR issued Photo ID will be required for entrance to Gleneagles Road and the Clubhouse Parking Lot. Access will be denied if you do not have one of the above referenced PGA TOUR issued credentials. Hotel Shuttle Service is also provided. See below for details. PRACTICE RANGE The Practice Range is located directly behind the parking lot outside the upper level to the locker room. The Practice Range will be open daily at 6:00 a.m. The bag room is located near the Caddie Staging area in the lower level of the Clubhouse. The bag room will be open daily from 6:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. PRO-AMS The Monday Pro-Am will be held on May 2nd and will consist of 28 teams - one (1) PGA TOUR Professional and four (4) amateurs per team. Tee times begin at 11:00 am off the #1 and #10 tees. Format is one (1) Best Ball Net. The Wednesday Pro-Am will be held on May 4th and will consist of 52 teams - one (1) PGA TOUR Professional and two (2) amateurs per team. Morning tee times begin at approximately 7:30am and afternoon tee times begin at 12:00pm off the #1 and #10 tees. Format is one (1) Best Ball Net. Founded nationally in 1990 and working in Charlotte since 2004, Teach For America s mission is to enlist, develop and mobilize as many as possible of our nation s most promising future leaders to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence. Teach For America corps members commit to teach in high -need schools, where they pursue outstanding outcomes with their students. As alumni, they work to address the opportunity gap - as veteran educators, principals and district administrators, as policy makers, non-profit leaders, advocates and activists.
