Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which PUJOLS (C. Lindop) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. From the entrance to the straight for a short distance was held up for clear running. BIG BAD BROWN (P. Gatt) bumped on jumping away when SUPER SWOOP jumped away awkwardly and shifted out. HOLD MY HELMET (R. Hurdle) bumped on jumping away when DELIVERY DAY jumped away and shifted in. SUPER SWOOP (T. Pannell) jumped away awkwardly and shifted out bumping BIG BAD BROWN. Laid out under pressure in the straight. UNFLYNNCHING (S. Cahill) jumped away awkwardly. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages of the event. Approaching the 400 was momentarily inconvenienced when taking a tight run to the inside of BIG BAD BROWN. Caboche) stood flat-footed at the start and was very slow to begin. In the vicinity of the 900 shifted in marginally inconveniencing WAR POINT. RACE 6: ADELAIDE GALVANISING/BIRNIE SANDERS HOTEL BROKERS BM 64 HANDICAP 1050 TRUENO (D. Caboche) jumped away awkwardly and shifted out inconveniencing FAIRY NYMPH. AKKACAN (B. Griffiths) approaching the 200 bumped FAIRY NYMPH, which shifted in. Approaching the finish shifted out bumping FAIRY NYMPH. Performed below expectation. A post-race JUST PEGGY (K. Crowther) performed below expectations. A post-race veterinary examination ASHERO (A. Jordsjo) jumped away awkwardly and shifted in bumping HOT DEMAND. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered a bi-lateral bleeding attack. Trainer, Mr G. Richards, was advised as this was the gelding s first bleeding attach, ASHERO would now be suspended from racing for a period of three months in accordance with AR53A and would be required to gallop 1000 in the presence of a Steward prior to accepting for a future race. CASH IS COMING (J. Kah) late scratching at 3.34 pm on Veterinary advice after the mare hit its head in the raceday stalls. RED FAIRARIE (E. Finnegan) jumped away awkwardly and shifted in inconveniencing FAIRY NYMPH. From the vicinity of the 100 for the remainder of the event was held up for clear running. HOT DEMAND (D. Thornton) bumped on jumping away by ASHERO which jumped away awkwardly and shifted in. FAIRY NYMPH (Z. Spain) inconvenienced on jumping away when RED FAIRARIE jumped away awkwardly and shifted in and TRUENO jumped away awkwardly and shifted out. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages of the event. Approaching the 200 shifted in and bumped AKKACAN. Approaching the finish shifted in bumping AKKACAN on a number of occasions. ABUNDANCE OF HEART (V. Wong) laid out under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination RACE 7: COOPERS BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP - 1600 MR LIBERTY (S. Cahill) Trainer, Mr N. Smart, advised Stewards prior to the event that he would instruct S. Cahill to settle back in the field. Slow to begin. ANYPORTINASTORM (C. Lindop) approaching the 600 had to be momentarily steadied when racing on heels. Laid in rounding the home turn. In the vicinity of the 200 had to be steadied and lost its position when SWEET SCHILLY shifted in marginally under pressure inconveniencing both PRESIDIUM and GRAND ARMADA, which were taken in. Held up from the vicinity of the 200 was held up for clear running for the remainder of the event. PAWNEE PASS (D. Thornton) slow to begin. SCARLETT FOX (D. Tourneur) laid in under pressure in the straight. Thornton) approaching the 200 shifted wider to improve around heels bumping ROWDY RICHARD. SATURDAY MAGIC (R. Hurdle) jumped away awkwardly and shifted out bumping GRAVITATIONAL. THE OTHER GUY (D. Tourneur) fractious in the barriers. D. Tourneur was examined by the First Care Medical personnel and ruled unfit to fulfil his engagement.
