A map of the Aquatics Centre demonstrating the areas you will be using during training and competition is on p6. Aquatics Centre Information Desk The Aquatics Centre Information Desk is at the entrance to the venue where athletes and teams will be dropped off by buses. This is open for the duration of training and competition (17 26 February 2012, 06:30 22:00 daily). Volunteers at the 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 will be ready to assist with training queries, competition information, results, submission of dive sheets and general support for all athletes and teams. 6. Warm-up and training During warm-up and training, teams will have access to a 600m 2 area reserved for athlete massage and physiotherapy. Teams are encouraged to use this area to set up physiotherapy beds and carry out treatments. Divers may access the dryland training area up to an hour prior to all training and competition warm-up sessions. The dryland training area opens at 06:45. Training days In accordance with FINA regulations, training will be provided for three days before the commencement of competition. Training will be available at the Aquatics Centre from 17 February 2012 and will provide both open and closed training opportunities. Teams will be divided into four training groups and each group will have approximately 70 divers. LOCOG will endeavour to ensure a good balance between springboard and platform divers in each group. Teams will be allocated two closed training sessions per day and will only be allowed to access the facilities during this time, and may also take part in open training each day (in the morning and evening). 8 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 Bulletin no.2 Competitions days During competition days, open training will be available from 07:00 to 08:30 prior to competition, and every evening until 22:00 following competition (unless an event is scheduled to finish later than 22:00). Warm-up will be available for at least one hour prior to the competition where the schedule permits. During warm-up, only competing divers will be able to train on the boards being used for competition. For springboard events this will include 1m springboards, and for 10m events this will include all platforms. Please note that during competition dryland training will be open only to divers in that competition session and the subsequent competition session. Open training has been allocated between sessions where possible. LOCOG has endeavoured to provide as much warm-up and training as possible. However, the pool must be kept clear immediately following a competition to assist in the exiting of spectators from the seating bowl. Athletes will not be allowed to train for 25 minutes after the end of the previous session or until the final spectator has left the seating bowl. Please respect LOCOG s workforce who will be enforcing this procedure. 7. Accommodation All official accommodation will feature a hotel information desk to assist teams with their check-in process and answer any queries. The hotel information desk will be open from 06:00 to 22:00, 16 19 February 2012. During competition days, all hotels will have an updated noticeboard with a 24-hour contact number for emergencies. If you require cancellation or addition of any rooms, please email accommodation@london2012.com 8. Accreditation Accreditation will provide eligible participants of the 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 with access and entitlement privileges. Access to the competition will be controlled at the venue perimeter and entrances to the various restricted zones in order to control security. Accreditation will also provide eligible participants with free transport privileges to and from the official hotels during training and competition days. In accordance with FINA regulations, photo accreditation will be provided free of charge to all divers and team staff. How to apply Following the receipt of final entry numbers on 9 December 2011, National Federations will receive an email including a user name and password permitting access to the online accreditation system. Teams are requested to upload the following information for all athletes and team staff attending: name date of birth photograph events flight details Please note the deadline for all federations to apply for their accreditation via the online system is 16 January 2012. Where to collect Accreditation will be available to collect from the Premier Inn Hotel Information Desk from 06:00 to 22:00, 16 19 February 2012. Team managers will be required to present photographic identification for all team members. Team leaders may also be requested to confirm their national anthem and national flag. Please note that accreditation will not be released until accommodation has been paid for in full. All official hotels are within walking distance of the Premier Inn Docklands ExCeL, so transport between the hotels will not be provided for the purpose of accreditation collection.

You are not permitted to copy, sub-license, distribute or sell any of this data to third parties in any form Any athletes arriving after 20 February 2012 will be required to collect their accreditation from the Venue Accreditation Help Office (VAHO), which will be located at the security entrance to the Olympic Park. If any team members lose or damage their accreditation, they should report to the VAHO to resolve this as soon as possible. A112 T h a m e s Custom House A13 10. Transport Airport transfers The travel time from London Heathrow Airport to all official hotels is approximately one hour. Arrival All teams arriving at Heathrow Airport will be greeted and transported to their designated hotel. In order to ensure an efficient service upon your arrival, it is essential to provide flight details to LOCOG by 16 January 2012, by entering details during the online accreditation process. Luggage It is the responsibility of all individuals to collect their own luggage at the airport luggage claim area and load them on to buses. In a case of late arrival, the airline companies are responsible for locating and returning any mishandled luggage to the owner. Departures Teams are responsible for reporting to the Aquatics Centre Information Desk in order to be informed of the transport arrangements at least 48 hours prior to departure time. Until this time, departure transport will be planned around the flight details submitted by 16 January 2012. Please inform LOCOG of any changes as soon as possible. Aquatics Centre shuttle buses Transport will be provided for all accredited team members staying in an official hotel to and from the Aquatics Centre. There will be two loops servicing the four official hotels. Buses will run from 06:00 to 22:30. The journey time from the hotels to the Aquatics Centre is approximately 45 minutes. Please note that loading times and security checks are included within this time. Alternative transport will be organised on an ad hoc basis if an athlete requires transport outside of the bus times due to doping control.
10 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 Bulletin no.2 11. Catering Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the accommodation payment and will be provided by your hotel. Meal times will be displayed on the noticeboard at your hotel information desk. Packed lunches will be available for athletes who are training or competing during lunchtime. To ensure quality packed lunches are provided, LOCOG requires you to provisionally identify how many will be required by your team each day. On arrival at the hotel you will be asked to confirm these numbers. Additional packed lunches can be requested at the Aquatics Centre Information Desk, provided you order 48 hours in advance. Please email your lunch requirements to diving@london2012.com no later than 16 January 2012. 12. Meetings Technical meeting There will be a technical meeting on Sunday 19 February at 10:00 in the Media Conference Room. Team leaders will be provided with an entry data checklist at their hotel information desk. Team leaders are requested to check the list thoroughly and confirm the following for all competing athletes prior to the technical meeting: athlete entries athlete name (print) athlete name (TV) athlete name (scoreboard) During the technical meeting the following will be confirmed: withdrawals amendments to entry data competition procedure preliminary events will be determined by an electrical draw General meeting FINA will host a general meeting on Friday 24 February 2012 at 11:20, immediately after the conclusion of the women s 3m Springboard semi-final. All team leaders are invited to attend. 13. General Information Dive sheets In accordance with FINA rules and regulations all divers must submit a statement of dives (dive sheet) no later than 24 hours before the start of the preliminary phase of the competition (ie, before the Technical Meeting). All dive sheets must be submitted in the Dive Sheet Box clearly labelled and located at the Aquatics Centre Information Desk. A diver may change his/her dive sheet for the next phase within 30 minutes of the previous preliminary or semi-final phase. To do so the diver must submit a new dive sheet, signed, dated and indicating the time of delivery, into the Dive Sheet Box at the Aquatics Centre Information Desk. Please take care to ensure all sections of the dive sheet are completed. Athlete uniform All athletes are expected to wear team uniform throughout the event and must wear their National Federation tracksuit and appropriate footwear for parades and victory ceremonies. Athlete parades All competitors are required to participate in the athlete parade and be introduced prior to every competition. During preliminary competitions, the athletes will be led by a flag bearer and will parade around poolside. During semi-finals and finals, athletes will parade onto poolside and be presented in a static line. Judges will be seated in the judges chairs prior to athletes parading.
18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 Bulletin no.2 11 Victory Ceremonies Victory Ceremonies will take place every evening following the completion of all final phase competitions. Following the last dive, a medal chaperone will assist each medal-winning athlete in getting to the assembly area on time for his/her Victory Ceremony. Athletes are asked to respect LOCOG s workforce to ensure the schedule runs as planned with regards to time, and are reminded to attend all Victory Ceremonies in their official National Federation tracksuits with appropriate footwear. Opening Ceremony There will be an Opening Ceremony on Monday 20 February 2012 at the Aquatics Centre. Two athletes from each federation will be asked to represent their teams during the Opening Ceremony by joining the parade around poolside. Rehearsals Rehearsals for parades, Victory Ceremonies and the Opening Ceremony will be conducted on Sunday 19 February 2012. Athletes and judges will be required to attend a rehearsal and the time will be confirmed at your hotel information desk. Team leaders may also attend to gain an understanding of event procedures. Media and press conferences Athletes are kindly requested to exit poolside via the mixed zone after the end of each session. A press conference will be held after each semi-final and final session. Anti-doping All athletes may be subject to doping control sample collection and testing throughout the event in accordance with the FINA Doping Control Rules. On completion of an event, an anti-doping representative will notify the divers of their selection. If a diver is selected for testing, a chaperone will escort the athlete up until the time when he/she reports to provide a sample. Use of wireless devices Athletes who are planning to use any wireless devices* at this event must have a LOCOG test event licence, which is free of charge. To request a licence, athletes need to complete the Test Event Application Form and return it to spectrum@london2012.com by Wednesday 15 February 2012. Applications after this date will not be accepted. Gaining a licence will ensure that athletes are provided with a level of protection at the event. Athletes who already have a BAU licence (either with Ofcom/JFMG) must still complete the attached form to obtain a LOCOG test event licence. LOCOG will not be able to assist any athletes who do not complete the form if they experience interference at the event. If athletes cause interference, they will be required to cease transmission. * ie, wireless cameras, wireless microphones, in ear monitors (IFB), PMR radios (walkie talkie), mobile microwave link, talkback (intercom), etc. Feedback In order for LOCOG to provide the best environment possible at London 2012, we kindly request that athletes and team members fill in feedback forms. Team members will be provided these on arrival at the team hotels. Forms need to be returned to the Sport Information Desk.
