Course Map This race course is a prime 26.5km circuit located in the township of Georgian Bluffs, located between Wiarton and Owen Sound in the western part of Grey County. Utilizing part of the ITT Provincials course, this race heads north into the county for some excellent climbing up the escarpment with a long descent and drop back into the bay area.

Course Safety - Event medical will be provided by FRS. There will be an onsite team located near the start area, as well as a first responder in each neutral support vehicle. - The closest hospital is the Owen Sound Hospital, located in Owen Sound. - This race is being run on open roads in the direction of traffic. You must, at all times, stay on the right side of the road. Any rider caught crossing the center line may be disqualified and eliminated from the race. If you are removed from the race and ignore the instruction to do so, you may be subject to further penalties. - There will be OPP Paid Duty Officers stationed at the Start/Finish and at intersections where the race does not have the right of way. They are there to allow the race to progress without stopping. Riders are asked not to abuse the turns by taking wide lines. This race control is mainly for the peloton within the enclosure of the race caravan. Any riders off the back must ride under normal traffic rules to the right of the road and may not be clear to pass through stop signs unless given direction by the police. - This course will not be marshaled. It is incumbent upon all riders to know the route beforehand. There will be adequate signage on the course but there will be no dispensation for riders who have turned incorrectly. - There will be a broom wagon circulating on the course for riders who cannot continue. For the first two waves of the day, riders way off the back may be pulled at the discretion of the finish judge or by the broom wagon operator, if they are in risk of finishing after the start of the next wave.

- In case of lightning, the race may be delayed or cancelled. If you are informed that the race has been stopped due to lightning, you are advised to seek shelter until the race can resume. - For your safety, if you withdraw from the event for any reason, you must inform the nearest Commissaire that you are no longer racing. Any unreported DNF may result in a severe penalty. - You are required to wear an approved, regulation cycling helmet at all times while astride your bike, from the moment you arrive at the race until you leave. Non-compliance may result in a severe penalty - helmets General Event Rules and Regulations The races will be held under the rules of the UCI with CCA and OCA modifications. Registration closes 15 minutes before the start of each race. All riders must sign on at registration. U.S riders must present a UCI licence in order to enter this event. USAC Domestic Licences are not allowed in Canada All foreign licensed riders other than U.S. riders must produce a letter of permission from their country s federation. This must be submitted to the OCA in advance of the event and a copy must be provided on race day to the Chief Commissaire. An OCA representative will be present at the race to assist with rider licensing issues. There are no plans to sell UCI licences on race day. Please contact the OCA for more details. All riders (or parents/guardians) are required to sign the OCA and CCA waivers, unless they have an OCA-issued licence. Races will start promptly at the indicated start times. Awards will be presented according to the published schedule. Top-3 finishers are required to attend award presentations or risk forfeiting their awards. Riders must wear their competition uniforms for the presentation. Specific Course Rules As this is a road race, there are no free laps for mishaps (e.g. crashes and punctures). Riders suffering mishaps will be serviced from the service vehicles and must continue the race from the point of the mishap. Any wheels brought to the neutral service vehicles will be treated as neutral for all riders. In order to perform quick changes, you may not receive your wheels in the process. Best efforts will be made to track where all changes occur so it is important for you to label your wheels. After each wave, wheels will be returned to the original drop off location. Riders who received a wheel change are asked to return to the wheel pit immediately after the race. Organizers will bear no responsibility for damage or loss. In the event of a mishap, riders are strictly forbidden from drafting behind vehicles for lengthy periods in attempting to catch up to their group. Such drafting may result in disqualification.

In cases where more than one group is on the course at the same time, riders must remain separate when overtaking or being overtaken by riders from other groups. Lapped riders may be pulled at the order of the Commissaires, either after being overtaken or just before being overtaken. Otherwise, lapped riders must remain separate, even when being overtaken by riders in their own group. Any riders outside the cut-off time limit may be pulled The feed zone location will be given on the day of the race. It will be marked with green signs. All feed zone activity must take place from the right side of the road only. The UCI/CCA Regulations state that feeding may not take place during the first 50km of a race and not during the final 20km of a race; however this may be modified at the discretion of the commissaires depending on race conditions. Neutral Feed will not be provided. All riders within a category will finish on the same lap. Therefore, lapped riders will complete fewer laps than the winner. Radio communication is not permitted between riders and anyone else Ceremonies, Protocol, & Prizes Top-3 finishers are required to attend award presentations or they may be assessed a penalty and/or forego any prizing.
