Welcome To the Destiny Star Dance 2018 Nationals! We have an amazing 5 days of dance, acting and singing, and we cant wait to share the excitement with all of you. Thank you for joining with us! Destiny Star Dance was created and exists to raise funds and awareness for charity, whilst sharing the love of dance and the performing arts. We are beyond excited to announce that with your help we have together raised an astonishing $21,000 Looking back at our July 2017-July 2018 season We have as always, supported our signature charity Destiny Rescue through cash donations, which are used to purchase stationery, food, clothing, medical care etc for rescued children and teenagers. We have for the full 12 months sponsored a Destiny Rescue Child, in the Philippines. In addition to sponsoring a Destiny Rescue home in Laos. Destiny Rescue is our signature charity and each year we will continue to support this amazing charity. Season Charity This season our season charity has bee BackPacks4SA Kids. With the amazing support of the DSD Ambassadors who helped back pack packs and collect donations, as well as many other incredibly generous dancers and dance families we have been able to put together 50 full backpacks of all new items. Items include Pyjamas, clothes, teddy, book, torch, hairbrush, toothbrush, etc. Other charities we have supported this season include Puddle Jumpers, The Smith Family, MS Society, Compassion Australia, Love your sister, and the DSD Dancer development Fund, providing dance tuition, shoes, costumes, dancewear etc to kids in need.
