GENERAL INFORMATION Boneo Park would like to thank you for your entry and wish you the very best of luck at the event. We have prepared the following information for you that should address questions you may have and make your time at Boneo Park enjoyable and memorable. Regular updates for all aspects of the event will be posted on the website www.australianjumpingchampionships.com.au and via the Boneo Park Facebook Page. DRAWS The draw will be available prior to the 2 nd November via Equipe, the link will be posted on the event website. DOGS Must strictly be kept on a lead at all times. WITHDRAWALS/ SCRATCHINGS We ask that all scratchings are notified by 3pm the day prior to the competition to ensure accurate draws can be done. In the event of scratchings a revised draw will take place and a move up system will apply. The final draw for the next day s competition will be posted online and available from the event office no later than 5pm the night before. Riders must strictly ride in draw order, no exceptions. The onus is on the competitor to confirm/check their draw. ENTRY CHANGES All entry changes after entries close will attract a $10 admin fee. Any changes before please email events@boneopark.com.au. As of Tuesday 6 th November all changes must be done at the event office. PRIZE MONEY Cards must be shown in order to collect prize money. EA horse and rider number will be recorded for EA purposes. Prize money to be collected from the event office for Rings 3 and 4. Rings 1 and 2 prize money will be transferred to the nominated bank account following the event.
COURSE WALK Course walk for the first class will commence half an hour before published start time of each ring TROT UP A trot up will take place for riders in the Young Rider and Senior Championships on Wednesday 7 th November at 1pm and then on Saturday 10 th November, time TBC for riders in the Final. The order to go is published on the event website. FUNCTIONS Join us as we celebrate the start of the 2018 Australian Jumping Championships with a sausage sizzle and some welcome drinks. This function will be taking place on the deck on the restaurant from 6pm-7pm.
SATURDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT The feature speed class will be taking place on the night of Saturday the 10 th on the Main Outdoor Arena 2 from 5:30pm. After watching this exciting class, head over the grass arena where we will have a great cover band playing out front of our Food Village and Bar. MELBOURNE CUP DAY There are just a couple of seats left on the bus that we have which is heading to Flemington on Tuesday for Melbourne Cup Day. The bus will be leaving Boneo Park at 8am and departing Flemington at 5pm to return to Boneo Park. If you would like to purchase a ticket for this day please email events@boneopark.com.au. Price is $195 which includes transport and a general admission ticket. ARRIVALS All arrivals must be in daylight hours. The stable manager will be onsite and located near the competition stables from Tuesday morning. You must arrive between 6.30am and 7.00pm. Should you need to arrive outside of those hours please contact Boneo Park on 03 5986 3006 or info@boneopark.com.au. You MUST go in your allocated stable/yard/campsite, no exceptions unless authorised by the stable manager. STABLING Due to the many changes stable allocation will be posted online and updated regularly, please check the allocation with the stable manager upon arrival. Whilst we have done our best to accommodate all requests please note due to the large number of horses and requests some may be unable to be met. Note: Please bring your own feeds, shovel, water buckets etc. Sawdust bedding will be supplied for all days of stabling. Stables will be cleaned for you after departure. Top up sawdust is available from the sawdust pile throughout the event. Feed is the responsibility of the competitor and can be ordered from Total Animal Supplies. Please find attached the feed order form. Total Animal supplies will also have a shop open at Boneo Park Thursday to Sunday for you to purchase popular feeds and hay from. Should you require specialty feeds please order prior to arrival. CAMPING Campsites will be allocated, please camp in your allocated site. Any cars, floats or trucks who have not booked a campsite will be removed. Please note, no horses are allowed in the campsite area.
WARM UP For all those arriving early in the week, warm up arenas A and B will be open to ride on. Jumps will be set up in these areas for you to use. The indoor and the indoor warm up is open for agistees only, so please ensure you do not ride in these areas. DAY PARKING Riders who are attending the event for the day only are to park in the big paddock to the north of the driveway, there is no day parking around the stable and yard area. GETTING TO BONEO PARK 312 Boneo Road, Boneo Take Eastlink from Melbourne and then the Mornington Peninsula Freeway from Frankston then onto Peninsula Link, follow signs to Portsea. Left on-to Boneo Road, take the turning lane on the right after Bunnings. Proceed to horse unloading zone in front of stable blocks or to your designated yard/campsite area. FACILITIES Boneo Park is proud of our facilities and asks you to take care when using them. Boneo Park asks you to take care for the environment and dispose of all rubbish in the appropriate way paying particular attention to rubbish bins which are marked for recycling and general rubbish. The amenities block is located next to the riders retreat, please keep clean and tidy. CATERING AT THE RETREAT CAFE Breakfast, lunch and snacks are available from the licenced Retreat Café. Café Times (subject to change) Wednesday 7th 7:30am-4:00pm Thursday 8th 7:30am-4:00pm Friday 9th 7:30am-4:00pm Saturday 10th 7:30am- 4:00pm Sunday 11th 7:30am-4:00pm Many restaurants deliver to Boneo Park from Rosebud and surrounds should you need options for dinner including Jetty s Pizza (59 822 156) and Thai Rosy (59 821400) PRESENTATIONS All presentations will be mounted, please see the event office after the class has finished and results finalised to collect your prize money. Cards must be signed and EA numbers recorded before money will be given out.
