On behalf of the members and committee of DILUTES AUSTRALIA Ltd, W.A. Branch, Thank you to all competitors for their support of the show. INSURANCE Dilutes Australia Ltd has its own insurance through AON. TEMPORARY DAY MEMBERSHIP: 1. $20.00 per competitor who is not covered by the company s insurance is collected on behalf of AON for public liability cover (excludes personal accident insurance). 2. All persons who will be handling etc in the ring who are not members of Dilutes Australia must pay the $20 temporary day membership fee. 3. DA membership provides insurance cover for ONE (1) person only. Extra persons may be included in this membership for an additional $20 per person for the purposes of showing / handling exhibits at all Dilutes Australia run fixtures. 4. All additional persons in the membership who will be handling / strapping / riding horses in the ring must take out temporary day membership UNLESS they are covered by point 3 above. 5. Proof of current DA financial membership is required either by attaching a copy of your current DA membership card to your entry form or your DA membership card is to be sighted on the day. 6. A copy of the Non-Member Application / Entry Form / Release of Waiver of Liability form must be downloaded in addition to this entry form. Please complete a separate form for each additional person who will require event insurance. Additional forms will be available from the nominations office. 7. On the day one entry number will be issued for each competitor covered by the company s insurance and each competitor who has completed a non-member insurance form and paid the $20. 8. Uninsured persons will be prohibited from ring entry. 9. Temporary Day Membership may NOT be used by unfinancial owners of DA registered horses & ponies to show that horse or pony under its DA registration at any show. ALL DA registered horses & ponies must belong to current financial FULL, JUNIOR, JOINT, FAMILY, STUD OR BCD members of Dilutes Australia Ltd to be eligible to be shown under DA registration AT ANY SHOW. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY DILUTES AUSTRALIA Ltd WA Branch will take no responsibility for any injury, death or loss to any person (competitor or spectator), livestock or property that may occur during the course of this event. Competitors enter at their own risk. ALL COMPETITORS/HANDLERS OR GUARDIANS MUST SIGN THE SHOW PARTICIPANTS DISCLAIMER STATEMENT TO BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE AT THIS EVENT. NO HAY ON GROUNDS Prams and children must be kept away from the horse areas and within the fenced spectator area All exhibits in the Breed section must be currently registered with their respective breed societies, with the exception of entries in the open section classes and unregistered classes. Exhibits are to be in the name of the registered owner or lessee. NO PENDING REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A CERTIFYING LETTER OR SIMILAR FROM THE RESPECTIVE BREED SOCIETY/S CONFIRMING THAT PAPERWORK HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING DONE. PROOF OF CURRENT MEMBERSHIP NEEDS TO BE SHOWN IF IT IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE BREED SOCIETY THAT OWNERS MUST BE FINANCIAL IN ORDER TO SHOW REGISTERED EXHIBITS. All horses markings and brands must match their registration papers. There will be no substitution of horses/ponies from those specified on the entry form unless prior arrangement with the Show Co-Coordinator. The horse s ages are calculated as at the 1 st August each year. All weanlings must be branded, micro chipped or lip tattooed UNLESS registered with a breed society that does not require this type of identification or with a breed society that allocates brands and which has not yet allocated a brand to/branded said weanling.

All breed classes will be run according to the rules and regulations of their society. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to be aware of their rules and regulations prior to entry. PALOMINOS: Any exhibitor who has been found to have dyed out spots or dyed or bleached a mane or tail will be disqualified from the class and the Show, and if a member of DA Ltd will be liable to expulsion from the company. HOGGED and FALSE MANES, FALSE TAILS and TAIL EXTENSIONS are NOT PERMITTED in halter classes. In halter & performance events plaiting, banding, & braiding are at the exhibitor s discretion EXCEPT IN MANE & TAIL CLASSES WHERE THE MANE & TAIL MUST BE FREE FLOWING. All competitors and handlers must wear appropriate covered shoes whilst HANDLING AND SHOWING horses and neat, clean and tidy attire must be worn as per each competitors breed standards of presentation All colts & stallions must be shown in suitable headgear as governed by their respective breed societies. JUNIORS HANDLING / RIDING COLTS & STALLIONS: Pony colts & stallions may be shown in breed classes by juniors as per their breed society regulations (proof of age may be requested). Ridden classes will be governed by the rules of their respective Breed Society The committee reserves the right to demand that any unruly, diseased or dangerous exhibit leave the ground. The committee also reserves the right to refuse or accept any entry without assigning a reason. Any other registered classes are for those registrations that DO NOT have their breed on the program, they are NOT for horses that carry registrations with different societies of the same breed that are already represented on the program for example DUAL AQHA & American QHA registered QHs. (Bar Dilute Classes) Exhibitors may only enter one of the pony/galloway/hack/western type classes. The committee reserves the right to alter or amend this program in anyway it deems fit without giving prior warning. Classes with insufficient entries may be combined at the Committee s discretion. The classes listed will not necessarily be the order of the judging. Non participation in an event will not warrant a refund of any monies. Entry monies may be refunded at the committee s discretion if the request is accompanied by a Veterinary Certificate and/or Doctor s Certificate within 7 days from the shows date. All halter rings will run concurrently. All performance rings will run concurrently. Competitors are advised that classes will not be held up under any circumstances. Late entry into a class will only be admitted at the judges discretion, please listen to your ring marshals at all times. Judges are not to be approached under any circumstances by any competitor or spectator. The judge s decision will be final. Protests must be lodged in writing within 20 minutes of the conclusion of the class in dispute and must be accompanied by a $50.00 fee, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld. ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR SAFETY APPROVED HELMET WITH HARNESS THAT MEETS THE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD # AS/NZS 3838 REQUIREMENTS. In performance classes Standardbreds may compete in any listed ridden event according to body type. 10.2hh and under led performance is run as per Dilutes WA Conditions. Show jumping horse must be 3 years and over and hunter horses must be 2 years and over. Halters must be either a webbing or rope halter with no knots over the nose. Western Classes Beginner classes are walk/trot (jog) classes and Novice classes are walk/trot/canter (walk/jog/lope) Western/English equipment is not compulsory (use what you have) The following breeds / classes are not eligible for Supreme of Supremes, Grand Champion, Top Five, Best In Show or similar awards: Unregistered horse or pony DA Dilute / Non-Dilute Ancillary DA Broken Coloured Dilute Any other foundation / ancillary / appendix horse or pony

DIRECT DEPOSIT can be used for paying entries but you are still required to lodge a paper entry form as per normal and a print out of the transaction receipt / deposit slip must be attached to your entry form. Your name and what show you are paying for must be put into the comments column when doing the deposit in order for it to be traced back to the correct entries.
