HOWE S SUPREME OF THE YEAR PRIZE FUND OF 1500 WIN WIN WIN! For the 2016 Showing Season, we will be awarding points as listed below. Each horse/rider/handler combination will accumulate points throughout the season to qualify for the Howe Grand Finale at the Anniversary Charity Show. Combinations achieving 50-75 points will qualify for the Bronze finale, taking part on the day of the Anniversary show to receive a speciality bronze rosette. The winning Bronze combination will go forward to the Silver finale. Combinations achieving 75-100 points will qualify for the Silver finale, taking part on the day of the Anniversary show to receive a speciality silver rosette. The winning Silver combination will go forward to the Gold finale. Combinations achieving 100 or more points will qualify for the Gold finale, taking part on the day of the Anniversary show to receive a speciality gold rosette. The winner of the Gold finale, selected by our panel of judges, will be Howe s Supreme of the Year, winning themselves 500 and a further 500 for their chosen charity. Howe s Reserve Supreme of the Year will win themselves 250 and a further 250 for their chosen charity. The combination achieving the most points throughout the season will receive the Easy Strider trophy, sash and rosette to be awarded at the Anniversary Show. ECOSSE ELITE TROPHY This trophy will be awarded to the horse or pony from a Scottish breed which achieves the most points throughout our showing season, with double points being awarded at our Summer show which will have dedicated Scottish breed classes. Points as page 2 Caledonian Showing Championships The Caledonian Showing Championships were a huge success in 2015 and will once again give 2016 competitors the opportunity to compete at a top level Championship Final in Scotland. Evening Performances, loads of bling and razzmatazz... everything an end of season Championship should have! This year s show will be held at Highfield @ Howe, near Ladybank, Fife on 1/2 October 2016 This Show is a qualifier and every horse & pony placed 1st and 2nd in all Inhand, Ridden Showing classes (not fun classes) & Working Hunter (Pony) classes will qualify to compete in any appropriate class at the Finals. Qualification will be from placings, no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, and no qualification can go down the line. Qualification is for the Horse & Pony except for Young Handler classes, where the Handler qualifies. All qualified horses and ponies will be listed on the Caledonian Showing Show s website www.caledonianchampionships.webs.com where you will also find a regularly updated list of qualifying shows as well as a wealth of other information.

HIGHFIELD AT HOWE SHOW RULES HIGHFIELD AT HOWE WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL PEOPLE AND HORSES AT ALL TIMES, HOWEVER ALL PRESENT MUST FOLLOW ALL RULES AND ANY INTRUCTION GIVEN BY ALL OFFICIALS TO PREVENT INCIDENTS OR ACCIDENTS OCCURING. 1. Highfield at Howe strongly advise all entering to have suitable liability insurance for all they take part in and it is a condition of entry that all entering accept that Highfield at Howe are not responsible for any accident, loss or damage. All entering do so that their own risk. 2. Highfield at Howe reserve the right to change judges, amalgamate classes and change rings if necessary. 3. Objections must be presented to the secretary within thirty minutes of the incident with twenty pounds which will be refunded if objection is upheld. The judges decision is final. 4. NO MUCKING OUT ONTO CAR PARK. Fifty pound fine will be enforced on anyone caught. 5. Dogs must be on leads and under close control at all times. 6. Although every effort will be made to accommodate all riders/handlers, it is solely the rider/handlers responsibility to be at the correct ring at the correct time. If classes may clash, please make the ring steward aware, however it is at the judges discretion if late arrivals are allowed to enter the class. The judges decision is final. 7. In the interests of safety the warm up arena may be restricted to the next class only, all riders to respect others, ride left to left, and be in control at all times. 8. Any horse or pony considered by an official to be lame or a danger to themselves or others will be asked to retire from the show. 9. If any rider dismounts in a class at an in correct time, falls off or a handler lets go of a horse it is the judges decision if they may continue in the class. The judges decision is final. 10. Refund of entry fees is solely at the discretion of Highfield at Howe. 11. Stabling fees are not refundable.

STABLE HIRE FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR STABLE DAY STABLE 8am ~ 5pm ~ 15.00 PER STABLE OVERNIGHT STABLE 5.30pm ~ 5pm 30.00 PER STABLE UP TO TWO STABLES 25.00 PER STABLE FOR THREE OR MORE STABLES RULES FOR STABLE HIRE As we only have a limited number of stables payment is non refundable. An additional charge of 10 deposit (refundable)(for day or night stable) per stable will be taken on the booking of the stable provided that stables are left in an acceptable condition. Overnight stables will be supplied with shavings. Please clear out dung when vacating the stable leaving clean shavings behind. Entry gates to showground will close at 10pm. Please ensure that you arrive before this time. If you are going to be later this must be done by prior arrangement. All stable lights must be out by 10pm. If anyone wants to check their horses after this time please use a torch so you do not disturb other horses. We ask you to keep all stable blocks clean and tidy. Electric hook ups can be supplied by prior arrangement. Vehicle registration must be given. Extra shavings and hay can also be supplied at additional cost by speaking to a member of staff. Hot shower for washing horses can be arranged by speaking to a member of staff who will advise of cost. Warm up and jumping arenas may be available on evening prior to show. Speak to a member of staff who will advise on cost of hiring. Please take care of tack and valuables as the centre will not take responsibility for any damage or loss.
