Possible dangers The product is not classified as dangerous pursuant to the latest CHIP Regulations. 3. Composition / information on ingredients (reference to EC directive 67 / 548 / EEC) n.a. 4. First-aid measures After inhalation After skin contact After eye contact After ingestion General Remove immediately to fresh air, keep patient warm and at rest. Seek medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water, rinse abundantly. Do NOT use solvents or thinners. Contact lenses should be removed. Hold eyelids open and flush with copious amounts of clean, fresh water or a special eyewash solution and seek medical advice. If swallowed, rinse mouth with plenty of water (only if the person is conscious) and seek medical advice immediately. Keep the injured person at rest. Do not induce vomiting. In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. 5. Fire-fighting measures Suitable extinguishing media Unsuitable extinguishing media Special risk posed by the substance or by the actual preparation, its combustion products or gases discharged Special protective equipment Additional information Foam (alcohol resistant), carbon dioxide, powders, water spray. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Water jet Fire will produce dense black smoke. Inhalation of dangerous decomposition products may cause serious damage to health. Appropriate breathing apparatus may be required. Cool closed containers in the vicinity of the source of fire.

Environmental precautions Methods for cleaning up/ collecting Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses. If the product enters drains or sewers, the local water company should be contacted immediately; in the case of contamination of streams, rivers or lakes, the Environment Agency. Contain and collect spillage with non-combustible absorbent materials, e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth and place in a suitable container for diposal according with the waste regulations (see section 13). Clean preferably with a detergent; avoid the use of solvents. 7. Handling and storage Information for safe handling Information about protection against explosions and fires Requirements for storage areas and Containers Information on combined storage Further information about storage Conditions Specific use(s) Avoid skin and eye contact. Avoid inhalation of vapour and spray mist. Avoid inhalation of dust from sanding. Smoking, eating and drinking are forbidden in application area. For personal protection see section 8. Comply with the health and safety at work laws. When operators, whether spraying or not, have to work inside the spray booth, ventilation is unlikely to be sufficient to control particulates and solvent vapour in all cases. In such circumstances they should wear a compressed air-fed respirator during the spraying process and until such time as the particulates and solvent vapour concentration has fallen below the exposure limits. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 90/269/EEC may apply to the handling of packages of this product. Refer to the guide weight indicated on the package when carrying out assessments. To assist employers, the following method of calculating the weight for any pack size is given. Take the pack size volume in litres and multiply this figure by the specific gravity value given in Section 9. This will give the net weight of the coating in kilograms. Allowance will then have to be made for the immediate packaging to give an approximate gross weight. Keep container dry and tightly closed in a cool well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Never use pressure to empty; container is not a pressure vessel. Close containers carefully once opened and store upright in order to prevent any leakage. No smoking. Prevent unauthorized access. Keep away from oxidising agents, from strongly alkaline and strongly acid materials. Always keep in containers of same material as the original one. Observe label precautions. Store in a dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition. Storage temperature : Protect from frost. Detailed information can be gained from the relevant technical data sheets. 8. Exposure controls / personal protection Occupational exposure limits n.a. Personal protection Respiratory protection All personal protective equipment, including respiratory protective equipment, used to control exposure to hazardous substances must be selected to meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 and the COSHH Regulations. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet (sanding/ flatting) should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. Use A1P2 breathing-protection half mask in case of contact with aerosols.

Replaces version of: 11.09.2009 Page : 3 von 5 Eye protection Required when there is a risk of eye contact. Hand protection In case of regular or extensive contact, a protection glove certified according to EN 374 and made of butyl rubber (material thickness 0.5 mm) or nitrile rubber (material thickness 1.25 mm) or fluorinated rubber (material thickness 0,7 mm) is recommended. The protection glove should be tested for its specific suitability (e.g. mechanical strength, product compatibility, anti-static properties). Follow manufacturer's advice on use, storage, maintenance and replacement of gloves. The gloves should be replaced immediately in case of damage or signs of wear. It is recommended to use preventative skin protection (skin cream). Environmental exposure controls see section 7 and 12 9.
