/ 5 Defendant's Name DEBOSE, ADRIENNE D The undersigned certifies and swears that he/she has just and reasonable grounds to believe, and does believe that the above named Defendant on Saturday August 5TH 07, at approximately 0:9, at 8 W TENNESSEE ST did the following violation of law: PROBABLE CAUSE TEMPLATE - ORIGINAL REPORT ================================================ TIME OF ARREST (ARRESTEE IN PHYSICAL CUSTODY): :9am DEFENDANT NAME: Adrienne Debose DOB: 0/5/99 B CHARGE(S): Possession of Firearm by Florida Convicted Felon (two counts) FS 790 A Carrying Concealed Firearm FS 7900 Possession of Cocaine FS 89 6A Possession of Paraphernalia FS 897 FACTS TO SUPPORT ABOVE CHARGE(S): On Saturday, August 5, 07, I was working a department approved off duty employment at 8 West Tennessee (Coliseum) clearing the parking lot of patrons from the bar that had just closed I was then called by SgtClemons, via police radio, to respond to the front of Zingales which is an establishment in the same complex Upon doing so SgtClemons stated that he observed a male improperly exhibiting a firearm that was now in a white F50 with a firearm attempting to leave Due to the unknown threat, and possible aggravated assault, the male was stopped in the vehicle and held at gunpoint by SgtClemons while OfcPender and I placed him into handcuffs As the male, later identified as Adrienne Debose, stepped out of the vehicle I could see a black and silver handgun partially concealed underneath the plastic floor mat As I bent down to look at the firearm I then discovered that there was another firearm stuffed underneath the seat (grip of pistol towards the steering wheel) While standing at the driver's door, even with it open, the firearm was not visible from ordinary view and only after I bent down inside of the vehicle was I able to see the concealed firearm (see digital photos 859) The firearm partially concealed underneath the mat was found to be a Smith & Wesson 9mm/Mod 6906 handgun (s/n VAD6) with rounds inside of the magazine and no rounds in the chamber The firearm concealed underneath the driver seat was found to be a Smith & Wesson 9mm/Mod 9 handgun (s/n VAA98) which had 7 rounds in the magazine and round in the chamber (ready to fire) This firearm was also found to be stolen per FCIC/NCIC under TPD case 7-96 A further search of the truck revealed a blue pill bottle in the center console of the vehicle Inside of the bottle I noticed there was a hard white rock like substance that I recognized as crack cocaine, estimated less than gram The cocaine concluded presumptive positive on scene for cocaine with a NARK II test kit After running Debose, it was discovered that he did not have a concealed weapons permit, meaning the firearm underneath his seat was contraband Additionally, it was learned that Debose was a Florida convicted felon Debose was convicted and adjudicated guilty in Leon County for aggravated battery on /5/7 (case 06CF0A), sale of a controlled substance on 08/0/06 (case05cf56a), and burglary of structure on 06/0/05 (case0cf76a) Debose was currently on felony probation for the aggravated battery as well until 07/0/09 Debose also had a learner license only which was suspended since 00 and Sex M DOB 0/5/99 Agency Report 007056

he had 8 active suspensions SECOND UDICAL CIRCUIT / 5 After speaking further with SgtClemons he explained the following; SgtClemons was clearing the lot on the west side of the main parking lot when he was flagged down by an unknown male The male told him that there was a subject flashing around two guns and pointed him in the general direction As SgtClemons approached the area he observed the subject, later identified as Adrienne Debose, holding a silver and black handgun about waist height At one point Debose observed SgtClemons walking towards him and concealed the firearm on his side Debose then quickly jumped into his truck and began driving off SgtClemons acted as if he didn't see Debose until back-up arrived and we were able to detain him Post Miranda However, SgtClemons made contact with the other male who apparently had grabbed his gun from his trunk and put it into his pocket That male also happened to have a Florida Concealed Weapons Permit so his actions were not unlawful by him concealing it in his pocket Debose was then charged with possession of firearm by Florida convicted felon (two counts), carrying a concealed firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and on-view violation of probation Debose was then transported to the Leon County ail for further processing See AVR 0066 and digital photos 859 The stolen firearm was removed from FCIC/NCIC by TPD teletype Underwood 59 at :5am A secondary verification was conducted to ensure its removal PLACE AN "X" IN FRONT OF ALL THAT APPLY: X Supplemental Reports Submitted Victim Statement Submitted Witness Statement(s) Submitted Suspect/Arrestee Statement Impounded X Property Impounded Vehicle Towed
