Lawrence North Athletics Awarded Sportsmanship Award for 2016-2017 Lawrence North High School received the Crossroads Officials Association Sportsmanship Award for 2016-2017 at their annual awards banquet last week. Mr. Penrose and Mr. Zeller accepted the award on behalf of everyone associated with LN athletics. This is a reflection of the outstanding character of our coaches, athletes, fans, administrators, and event workers. As the COA President put it, this recognition is really a reflection of the entire Lawrence North school community. This is the first time that Lawrence North has received the award, and it also marked the first time a Marion County school received the honor since Perry Meridian in 2004.
