NRHA APPROVED CLASSES: All NRHA classes, including aged events, Affiliate Regional Championship and ancillary classes, will be awarded trophies based on NRHA guidelines - Lawsons, Morrisons, Morgans and Plaques. Pay-outs on all aged events and those ancillary classes with $2,000 or more added money will be calculated using NRHA payback schedule B. All others will be calculated using NRHA payback schedule A GWRHA CLASSES: Membership in the GWRHA is not required to enter GWRHA classes. Three slates of GWRHA Ladies & Gents schooling classes will be held (on Sunday, Tuesday and again on Thursday) and three slates of GWRHA Mares and Not-Mares (Stallions/Geldings) schooling classes will be held (on Monday, Wednesday and again on Friday). These GWRHA schooling classes can be shown in any legal bridle using either one or two hands. These classes will have Jackpot payouts and the combined high point circuit class winners (Slate #1 plus Slate #2 plus Slate #3 scores) in each of these four classes (Ladies/Gents/Mares/Not-Mares) will each be awarded class prizes to 5th place. These GWRHA schooling classes will be run in the outdoor arena. The $7 per run video fee charge does not apply to classes run in the outdoor arena. Late entries (post entries after the draw) for all GWRHA schooling classes will go last in the draw rather than first. SCHOOLING : Contestants are expected to run the designated NRHA pattern number assigned to each class however deviations from the designated pattern will be allowed in the above mentioned GWRHA schooling classes. As a courtesy to the judges, contestants intending to school their horses in the GWRHA schooling classes should make their intention to school obvious to the judge at the beginning of their run. Schooling runs shall not exceed four minutes of arena time. FUTURITY/DERBY/MATURITY: Futurity horses may be shown either one handed or two handed in any legal bridle and may switch hands during the pattern. Derby and Maturity horses are to be shown one handed. All Futurity/Derby/Maturity entries must enter up one level (e.g. Level 1 entries must also enter the Level 2 class, Level 2 entries must also enter the Level 3 class, Level 3 must also enter the Level 4 class). Only one judges fee will apply. A Draw Party will be held at 9:00AM on Thursday for the Non Pro Futurity; the Open Derby draw party will be Thursday evening; the Non Pro Derby and Open Futurity draw parties will be Friday evening. The Open and Non Pro Maturity classes will be run concurrent with their respective Open and Non Pro ancillary/arc classes and will be drawn by the show secretary the night before. Additional Futurity/Derby/Maturity entries will continue to be accepted until the start of the of the classes however, once drawn, late additions will be the first to show.

ADDT L CLASS INFORMATION: Show entries should be submitted to the office by 5:00PM on the evening before each show day (except for Futurity/Derby classes). The office will close from approximately 5:00PM to 6:00PM each day to prepare the draws for the following day. We anticipate the classes and schedule will be posted at approximately 6:00PM on the evening before each show day (except for Futurity/ Derby classes). Class entries will continue to be accepted until the start of the classes however, once drawn, late additions will be the first to show. Note that NRHA regulations prohibit refunding of entry fees once drawn. The draw schedule for the main arena will take precedence over the draw schedule in the outdoor arena. Management, in its sole discretion, may alter the draw order in the outdoor arena to accommodate timing conflicts arising where a horse and/ or rider is scheduled to show in both arenas. Drag periods are tentatively scheduled and may be altered from time-to-time after posting as deemed appropriate. Management reserves the right to alter the show, the arena and schedules at any time as circumstances may dictate or as may be deemed appropriate. LEADLINE CLASS: A special GWRHA Pee Wee Reiner /Leadline class for children aged 7 and under will be held on Friday following the youth classes. Contestants are requested to enter by 5:00PM on Thursday and to submit a short story line in writing (click here for entry form). Riders must be accompanied in the class by an adult who will lead the horse and rider at a walk. No reining maneuvers will be performed. OPEN ARENA RIDING SCHEDULE: Open riding in the indoor arena will be available from approximately Noon to approximately 10:00PM on Friday, October 5th. The arena will reopen from 5:00AM to 6:00AM on Saturday, October 6th and periodically during paid warmups (6:00AM to approximately 7:00PM). Then, following completion of paid warmups (approximately 7:00PM) on Saturday, October 6th, we expect the arena will then remain open every evening following each day s classes throughout the duration of the show however the arena will close from 2:00AM to 4:00AM each day to prepare the ground for the following day s classes. The outdoor coverall arena will be open all day Saturday, October 6th and Saturday, October 13th and after each day s classes in that arena; once the main arena is available for open riding each day, the coverall arena ground will be prepared for the next day and closed for the remainder of the night. The Stampede outdoor arena will be open every day, as well as the dressage arenas on the eastern side of the horse park. TROPHIES & PRIZES: In addition to NRHA classes being awarded trophies based on NRHA guidelines, there will be prizes awarded for 1st through 5th place in all NRHA ancillary and all GWRHA classes (see the Class Schedule). Their production trailer will be on site and will offer free viewing and the ability to purchase videos of your runs. A delay video feed station will also be provided near the warmup area. A $7 video fee will be added by the show secretary for each run. PHOTOGRAPHY: Event photography services and promotional materials are being provided by Caleb Tipton Photography. Please bring several items to share. The funds raised by the auction are used to purchase prizes and fund all the activities at the show. This is an important fundraiser and your participation is what makes it possible to continue to award special prizes and host these activities. We appreciate your generosity. SPONSORS: We are very grateful for our sponsors without whose generous support this event would not be possible. The continued success of this event is only made possible through the donations made by our many sponsors. We do need your support in order to continue to make the event at this wonderful facility possible. Show, class and prize sponsorships are all available. The GWRHA is a 501(c)(3) public charitable organization and all of your donations are tax deductible. Please contact Stephanie Porath at #(208) 390-0283 to find out more about how you can contribute to the success of our show (click for sponsor information). PINK FRIDAY: GWRHA and it s members have been Slide for the Cure advocates the past several years. We thank you for your gracious support. The program is taking a break; there will be no year end awards or saddle drawings. However, we continue to support the pursuit of a cure for cancer. We appreciate your recent encouragement and financial support for some of our members who they themselves have personally been dealing with cancer. GWRHA encourages people to catch the spirit by dressing up in pink on Friday (and going pink crazy with glitter, ribbons, etc). APHA SPECIAL AWARDS: The American Paint Horse Association has chosen the Low Roller Reining Classic as one of it s 5 major horse shows to offer their Reining Buckle Program! APHA Representatives will be on hand to sign up paint (and multi-breed registerable) horses for the buckle program and awarding a wide variety of class buckles. They will also be available to assist with registering horses, transferring papers and collecting memberships. HORSE OF THE WEST: Once again, we welcome back Chris Cook and Horse of the West (previously known as NRHA Inside Reining) to record and televise our horse show to the horse community world wide via RFD-TV on cable networks. Be watching for the Low Roller episode approximately one month after the show. It will air 4 times, twice on a Monday at 12:30PM and 8:30PM Mountain Time and then again at the same times on the following Monday. Be looking for it and set your DVR! FORD IDAHO HORSE PARK RULES: Dogs are to remain on a leash and under control at all times. No dogs are allowed in the Ford Idaho Center Arena or the Sport Center Concession and Office area at any time. Please clean up after your animals. All horses to be washed in designated wash areas only (no washing in the stalls or alleyways). No horses allowed in the RV grounds. All overnight horses must be stalled (no stalling in or tying to trailers). No outside food, beverages or alcohol may be brought into any building without the consent of the FIHP. Speed limit 10 mph. Exhibitors and invitees must comply with all FIHP rules and management directives. CHANGES: As always, the show schedule is tentative and subject to change. GWRHA reserves the right to make changes, cancellations or substitutions at any time. Show management may change, cancel, alter or reschedule classes, arenas or any other show particulars due to weather or for any other reason, in its sole discretion, as may be dictated by circumstances at the time.
