Bums off Seats Walk with us! Would you like to start walking more, whether for pleasure or exercise? Would you like to discover walks in your local area or have some company? Come along to one of our local walking club organised walks and feel the benefit! Bums off Seats is managed by Fife Council. It organises programmes of short weekly volunteer led walks across Fife. The aim of the led walk programme is to encourage people to start walking regularly in their local area especially the less active members of Fife s population. A more active lifestyle can improve physical health and promote good mental health and well being. Please arrive 10 minutes before your first walk in order to complete a Health Walk Questionnaire. What do you need? Dress according to the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for the route. In the summer months you may wish to bring a bottle of water, hat and sun screen with you. When walking with the group, please: Arrive in good time. Be considerate of others. Let the walk leader know if you leave before the end. Remember that the leaders are volunteers as well as participants and are there for enjoyment too. Stay behind the front leader and in front of the back leader. Enjoy Yourself! 20 SPORT FOR ALL festival 2014
