District Championships 13-6A Track Meet - Updated 4/2 Ticket prices per day will be $4.00 Adults and $2.00 students Dates: April 7-9, 2015 Location: Rouse High School Stadium Teams: Cedar Ridge, Hendrickson, Pflugerville, McNeil, Round Rock, Stony Point, Westwood, Rouse Meet Director: Joshua Mann Registration: Directathletics.com Registration Start Date: Registration End Date: Meet Format: Meet will follow 2014 UIL and NFHS rules. Use the "championship" format with the top eight qualifiers by time in each running event and top eight qualifiers by distance in the field events advancing to the final session. FAT provided for each race. Games committee will determine if hurdle races will be turned around. Jewelry of any kind is NOT permitted during competition. Teams are limited to three entries per event and one relay per team relay event. Prelims will be: Random seeding without entry times for F/JV. Curve Judges will be utilized during all sessions to judge any unfair advantage, zone disqualifications or fouls. Protests must be made in WRITING and submitted to the Meet Director no later than 30 minutes after the completion of that protested event or 10 minutes after the 4X400 relay. The games committee will be responsible for ruling on any protest. Field Events: Varsity will have 3 attempts in preliminaries, 3 attempts in finals. (In order) Freshman and JV divisions will have 4 attempts only - all finals. (In order) All throws will be measured. Shots and Discus will be pooled. All Shots and Discus will be officially weighed by Meet Referee between 2:30 and 3:15. They will be marked and pooled at the weigh in area located near the visitor side concession area. (Women's restroom side across the street from baseball/softball field) Relays: All relays will be contested as timed finals in the finals session only. Relay declaration cards must be turned into the check in site prior to the start of the finals session. A maximum of 6 individuals may be listed as members on a single relay team from the original entry form, any four of whom may be assigned to run. This will count as an entry for each person listed if they run, the execution of relay cards will be enforced. All relay members will report to the starting line and then we will scatter to exchange zones. Regional qualifiers must declare names to send with region report prior to leaving the stadium. Qualification is by school. Scratch Rules: Scratch must be done one hour before the start of the prelims on Tuesday and Wednesday only. "Scratch meeting" will be in the pressbox. No scratches or adds can be made for the finals on Thursday. Relay cards will be used for finals to designate actual participants. Advancement: Top four individuals and relay teams will advance to the area competition. Awards: Coaches will pick up all individual and team awards at the conclusion of the final session. HHS Stadium Rules: Do not jump fences or locked gate areas. Enter field at designated areas. Coaches, workers and participants are the only ones on the field during competition. No parents allowed on the infield or track oval at any time. Shot rings and Discus Rings will have designated spectator areas for viewing competition. No sodas, sunflower seeds, food or gum is allowed on the infield and track area. Participants will not be allowed to use headphones near the starting line of the individual races. No team camps in stands. Camps will be outside of the fence.

After the scratch meeting (around 3:30) event sheets will be delivered to workers at their event. Send results to the pressbox after the compeltion of each event. All athletes will take a jump/throw in order. (Athletes can not take consecutive jumps/throws) Athletes competing in two field events at the same time need to report in at each event. Vertical jumps take precidence. Move the athlete to the end of the rotation and allow 5 minutes to attempt the jump/throw.
