Professional Photography & Annual Performance - Hair & Make-Up List Please find below the list of make-up required for the Annual Performance. TINY TOTS/KINDER DANCE 3-4 YEARS The make-up for our Tiny Tots / Kinder Dance students makeup is kept to a bare minimum. This is most appropriate for this age group. Blush - Colour: Pink Lip Gloss - Colour: Pink PRIMARY - SENIOR STUDENTS - 5 YEARS & OVER The make-up required for the Primary students through to the Senior students is: Foundation - Foundation depends on the skin tone of each child. Ideally one shade darker is required due to stage lighting. Blush - Colour: Pink Eye Shadow - Dark Brown (Lower Lid) Cream (Upper Lid) Mascara - Colour: Black False eyelashes are optional for Junior - Senior students. False eyelashes look amazing on stage! Lipstick - Colour: Red (NO Brown or Pink Tones) HAIR - NO FRINGES STUDENTS MUST WEAR THEIR HAIR IN A BUN HIP HOP STUDENTS TO WEAR HAIR IN A HIGH PONYTAIL *SOME CLASSES MAY BE INSTRUCTED TO WEAR THEIR HAIR A CERTAIN WAY* - PLEASE NOTE - The bun is to be at the back of the head in line with the ears - Not on top of the head. If you are using a Hair Donut for your child s bun, please use a suitable size for hair length. The smaller the donut the better. Please use the following - match hair tie, hair net and bobby pins to your child s hair colour. NO COLORED HAIR ACCESSORIES Hair Spray & Gel to be used for all students. Professional Photography & Annual Performance - Body Stocking or Tan Underwear A Body Stocking (Tan coloured leotard with clear straps) or Tan Underwear is required to be worn under costumes for the Professional Photography Session and the Annual Performance. COLOURED OR PATTERN UNDERWEAR IS NOT ACCEPTABLE Imagine dancing on stage wearing a beautiful costume and your coloured underwear hanging out. Not a good look! Compulsory Theatre Rehearsal Friday 7th December 2018 Kel Watson Theatre (Forest Hill Secondary College) 178-180 Mahoneys Road Burwood East 3151 Time Schedule - Tiny Tots & DanceStep Student Teachers: Arrive - 4pm Rehearse - 4.15pm Finish - 5pm Primary, Sub-Junior, Junior & DanceStep Student Teachers: Arrive - 4.30pm Rehearse - 5pm Finish - 7pm Intermediate, Sub Senior, Senior & Musical Theatre Students: Arrive - 6.30pm Rehearsal - 7pm Finish - 9pm The Compulsory Theatre Rehearsal will not be a dress rehearsal. The rehearsal will be for students to run through their dance on stage. Students will need to wear their Perfect Pointe uniform. Students do not need to wear make-up but will need their hair done neatly in a pony tail or bun. Students will need to bring with them all correct shoes. * PLEASE NAME ALL PERSONAL ITEMS * Please bring plenty of water and Snacks. BACKSTAGE HELPERS ALL Backstage Helpers are required at Theatre Rehearsal. Please wear your Perfect Pointe T-shirt. STUDENT COLLECTION Once the rehearsal session has finished at the allocated time, students are to be collected by a parent from the stage. PLEASE NOTE - Parents and Friends are not permitted in the theatre or backstage while the rehearsal is running. Parents may wait in the foyer until their child has finished their rehearsal.

Annual Performance Important Information Annual Performance Arrival Time All students and backstage helpers MUST arrive at the theatre - Friday 14th December - 6pm Saturday 15th December - 12.30pm. Students are to arrive with their hair and make-up done. Backstage - Students and Backstage Helpers ONLY All students are to remain backstage at ALL times. Each dressing room has allocated backstage helpers ( Perfect Pointe Mums ) Backstage Helpers will be wearing Perfect Pointe T-shirts. All of the backstage helpers have a current Working With Children Check. The backstage helpers will care for each student, help them with costumes, toilet, etc. IMPORTANT NOTE - For the safety of all students NO parents or friends are allowed backstage at any time during the performance and intermission. What to bring to the Annual Performance Students are to arrive with their hair and make-up done Backstage Helpers are not to do students hair and make - up. Students are to bring all correct shoes, tights, etc. Primary students through to Senior students please bring your Beauty Cases. Inside the beauty case: Lipstick ( to touch up if needed ), extra bobby pins, hair net, hair spray, etc. Students may bring with them colouring books and pencils - NO TEXTAS! Reading books, puzzles, etc. PLEASE NAME EVERYTHING! Please Note - If your child wishes to bring with them their ipod, iphone, ipad etc, Perfect Pointe will not be held responsible for lost or damaged items, including anything left behind in dressing rooms at the conclusion of the performance.

What to bring for a Snack Backstage Students are to have a big meal before arriving to the theatre. Students may bring a snack with them. Over the years Jelly Beans have been recommended to help keep up sugar levels for energy. However, I have found that students arrive to the Annual Performance with almost a candy store in their bags! If you wish to pack a snack for your child we recommend a sandwich, some plain biscuits and a small amount of jelly beans. Students should have a meal at home before arriving to the theatre. Foods that are not to be brought to the Annual Performance as a snack Cheezles Twisties Chocolate Minties or any other sticky sweets Potato Chips NO NUTS - due to Allergies These foods are very messy and will leave stains on costumes and faces. Unfortunately if a student does bring these foods backstage the Backstage Helpers will confiscate until the end of the performance. PLEASE NOTE - There is to be NO eating in costumes. Many hours of hard work has gone into preparing our beautiful costumes. We do not want to find stains on your child s costume just as they are about to perform stage. Thank you for your understanding. Annual Performance Pick Up - Conclusion of Performance The Annual Performance on Friday 14th December will finish at approximately 9.30pm. The Annual Performance on Saturday 15th December will finish at approximately 5.30pm For student collection at the conclusion of both performances the procedure will be to collect your child from the stage. Once the performance has finished the students will get changed out of costume and will then be brought back on to the stage to wait for a parent/guardian to collect them. Your patience while waiting for your child is appreciated. Perfect Pointe has over 150 students, it is important to us each student is picked up and taken home safely. Tiny Tot Students All Tiny Tot students will go home at Intermission on the Friday 14th December performance. All Tiny Tots students will stay until the conclusion of Saturday 15th December performance. Friday 14th December - Mini Acrobatic Students All Mini Acrobatic Students will perform straight after Intermission, they may leave after this performance.. IMPORTANT - We ask only ONE parent to collect their child backstage during the intermission
