ANNOUNCEMENT: a. The Far North Queensland Road Race Club, Road Racing Association of Townsville, and the Whitsunday Moto Sports Club, hereafter called the PROMOTING CLUBS will conduct the North Queensland Interclub Road Race Championship for Seniors and Juniors in accordance with venues and dates listed above. 2. JURISDICTION: a. The abovementioned meetings have been authorised by MQ who has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Numbers 42033, 42034 and 42035 and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia Senior and Junior Licenses. b. One Meeting Licences will be available. Juniors must produce a current log book. c. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current Manual of Motorcycle Sport General Competition Rules (GCR s) these Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions approved by MQ. 3. BY ENTERING THESE MEETINGS ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS. 4. ENTRIES: a. Entries open forthwith, and will not be accepted on the day of the meeting. Entries Close as per dates listed above. b. In the case of postponement or abandonment of a meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the relevant Club or transferred to a future round, if such retention or transfer is approved by MQ. c. Only entries received on the official Entry Form that are accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted. d. Any refund of entry fees for any rider withdrawing from an event shall be at the discretion of the promoter. 5. ENTRY FEE: a. $ 130.00 for all Senior Classes. b. Second and subsequent Senior Classes by the same competitor - $ 10.00 c. $ 50.00 for Junior Nominations d. Second and subsequent Junior Classes by the same competitor are free. e. Junior Nomination will be reduced by $ 25.00 if a senior member of their family has nominated and paid to participate in the meeting. f. Payment by Cheque, Money Order, or cash on the day. g. Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to the FNQRRC, R.R.A.T. or WMSC as appropriate for the meeting entered. h. Any fees for dishonoured cheques will be the responsibility of the entrant.

i. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL. 6. INSURANCE: a. National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability. b. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees. c. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT WEEKLY BENEFITS INSURANCE. 7. MEDICAL SERVICES: 7.1 St Johns Ambulance will be in attendance during the practice and racing portion of the FNQRRC meeting. 7.2 AWB First Aid Pty Ltd will be in attendance during the practice and racing portion of the WMSC meeting. 7.3 QAS will be in attendance during the practice and racing portion of the RRAT meeting. 8. AWARDS AND PRIZEMONEY: 10.1 Trophies will be awarded for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd at each meeting per class listed. No other trophies or prize money will be awarded at these meetings. 10.2 Trophies will be awarded at the completion of the series for individual Series Champions in each class for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place. 10.3 a) Interclub Championship Points will be awarded to each Club to the classes listed below on the basis of entry parity Road Race Class A Road Race Class B Road Race Class C Supermoto Clubman S4/S5 Supermoto Clubman S6 Junior Motard S7/S8 Junior Motard S9 Junior Corporate Challenge 10.3 b) Points accumulation based on entry parity as per the EXAMPLE below: Round RRAT FNQRRC WMSC Accumulation of Club Points 1 3 x Class Z 6 x Class Z 2 x Class Z Club Points accumulated by 2 x Class Z entrants at this round from each Club. 2 4 x Class Z 8 x Class Z 0 x Class Z No Club Points accumulated by Class Z entrants at this round. 3 4 x Class Z 8 x Class Z 5 x Class Z Club Points accumulated by 4 x Class Z entrants at this round from each Club 10.3 c) Entrants whose points are to be accumulated toward the Interclub Championship Points must be nominated before the first heat of each round. If a nominated entrant is unable to complete the round there shall be no reserve or substitute rider permitted. 10.3 d.i) In the instance of a competitor holding multiple Club memberships, the following shall apply:

10.3 d.ii ) The Cardwell and Ayr Post Offices shall be utilised as the point of reference for determination of Club representation. 10.3 d.iii ) Competitors mentioned in Clause 10.3 d who reside North of the Cardwell Post Office shall represent the FNQRRC. 10.3 d.iiii) Competitors mentioned in Clause 10.3 d who reside South of the Ayr Post Office shall represent the WMSC. 11. ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS: 9.1 To constitute a Class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each Class shall be four. 9.2 Any race that has less than 4 remaining competitors will be combined with another class and scored separately for their respective class points. 9.3 Should there be insufficient entries OR an over subscription in any Class of Competition, the decision to run or cancel the Class, or to combine events and re-distribute any awards and / or prize money, will be at the discretion of the promoter, subject to Motorcycling Australia (Queensland) approval. 12. FORMAT. 12.1 All classes shall compete in 4 sprint races of 6 laps. MACHINES AND RIDERS: 13.1 All machines entered must comply with the current GCR s for Road Race Competition. 13.2 Formula Road Race machines are permitted to use slick tyres. 13.3 All motorcycles must be fitted with folding or shear type footrests. 13.4 Supermoto machines must be fitted with peg sliders. 13.5 Engine crankcase and gearbox breathers must be fitted with hoses feeding into an oil catch container with a volume of at least 300cc, which must be emptied after each event (local track requirements) 13.6 Carburettor and radiator vent and overflow hoses must be fed into a suitable catch tank, or a catch tray for non-adr and fully faired machines as per the GCR s. 13.7 Multiple entry of the one machine in the same Class of Competition is not permitted. 13.8 Each rider must present their leathers, helmet, back protector, eye protection, gloves, boots and licence to the Scrutineer at the SAME time as the machine(s) to be examined. 13.9 Any competitor involved in an accident must represent their machine and full riding gear to the Scrutineer for inspection and clearance prior to their next event at the meeting. 13.10 Late arrivals to scrutineering MAY be considered at the discretion of the Race Secretary and/or Clerk of the Course. This may entail a delay in Track access. Refer to Section 4 of this entry form. 13.11 A substitute machine may be permitted subject to the approval of the Steward. Substitution request must be submitted to the Clerk of the Course at least ten minutes prior to the start of the race in which the substitution is requested. Substitute machines must have passed machine examination, must be eligible for the class and replace a machine that cannot be reasonably repaired. 13.12 Wherever possible, competitors will be allocated their preferred competition number. All others will be allocated numbers at the Promoter's discretion. 13.13 Class A must display their riding numbers with white lettering on a black background. All other classes MUST comply with the GCR s. 13.14 End case protection will be enforced as per current GCR. 13.15 If used, R pins on brake calipers must be lockwired across the open end. 14. GRID POSITIONS: 14.1 Grid positions will be determined by the promoter, for the first heat of each round. 14.2 Grid positions for subsequent heats will be the finishing order from the previous heat. 15. RIDERS BRIEFING:

15.1 A Riders Briefing will be held prior to the commencement of practice. ALL competitors MUST attend this briefing. 16.DRUGS AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING: 16.1 All competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency. 16.2 If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors telephone the Drugs in Sport Hotline 1800 020506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prize money may be delayed at MQ discretion until the results of the tests are known. 16.3 For the purposes of drug & alcohol testing, the commencement of the meetings will be deemed to be 7.00 am with the completion of the meeting for the participant being half an hour after they have participated in their last event. This includes if the participant has withdrawn from racing for any reason. 17. CODE OF CONDUCT: 17.1 All Competitors, Officials and Parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law - CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCR s) which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all Motorcycle Race Meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this Meeting and will be enforced. 18. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION: 19.1 Suncity 19.1 a) Road Race - Clockwise 950-metre asphalt track 19.1 b) Supermoto - Clockwise 1000-metre combined asphalt / decomposed granite track

STARTS: 20.1 All starts will be by clutch operation from a standing position. 20.2 Races will start by flag and / or lights. 21. SPECIAL NOTES AND WARNINGS: 21.1 One Meeting Licences are available on the day for $55.00 (GST included) 21.2 No dogs are allowed at the race circuit 21.3 No alcohol or smoking is permitted in the pit area or pit paddock. 21.4 All persons in the pit / pit paddock area must have closed in footwear. Riders are responsible for their crew members / friends / family etc. 21.5 No bicycles, skateboards, roller skates etc. are allowed in the pit area 21.6 Food and Drinks will be available onsite 21.7 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 21.8 Final instructions will be issued and available at www.rrat.com.au, www.fnqroadracingclub.com.au and www.wmsc.org.au no later than 5 days before the meeting date. 21.9 Burnouts on the track or in the dummy grid will not be tolerated, and will result in a penalty.

21.10 Victory or showboat wheelstands will not be tolerated and may result in a penalty. 21.11 a) A Race Secretary may compete at these meetings provided that : b) A second suitably qualified secretary is appointed to the meeting, and: c) At all times during the meeting, one of the Race Secretaries will be on duty, and: d) The Clerk of Course has given permission for this to occur under GCR 2.5.3.2(c). 21.12 ELECTRONIC TIMING WILL BE USED AT THIS MEETING. COMPETITORS WHO HAVE THEIR OWN AMB / MYLAPS TRANSPONDER MUST ADVISE THEIR TRANSPONDER NUMBER AT TIME OF ENTRY. 21.13 COMPETITORS WHO DON'T HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPONDER MUST ADVISE OF THIS AT TIME OF ENTRY. 21.14 Sidecar Demonstrations may take place at these meetings. 21.15 A Practice Day will be conducted on the Saturday prior to Round 1 and Round 3 - these Practices do not form part of these meetings, and will be conducted under separate Permits. 21.15 More information contact relevant Race Secretary on numbers listed above.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS, DANGERS & OBLIGATIONS I ACKNOWLEDGE that: a) motorcycle sport is dangerous and that by engaging in the sport (whether as a competitor, recreational rider, coach, official or media) at the Meeting I take and am exposed to certain risks and dangers and am under certain obligations as follows: i) that I may be injured, physically or mentally, and may be killed; ii) that my machinery or equipment may be damaged, lost or destroyed; iii) that competitors may ride dangerously or with a lack of skill; iv) that track or event conditions may be hazardous and may vary without warning or predictability; v) that organisers, officials, landowners/track operators and any agents or representatives of those in charge of meetings are frequently obliged to make decisions under pressure of time/or events; vi) that any policy of insurance of or in respect of my life or physical or mental health may be voided; vii) that there may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of me if I am injured; vii) that I have an obligation to myself and to others to act safely and within the rules and regulations of MA; b) the Indemnitees do not make any warranty that the services at the Meeting will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; c) to the extent that any warranty is implied it is excluded to the full extent permitted by law; d) have voluntarily read and understood this warning and accept and assume the inherent risks in participating in the Event. 4. WARNING UNDER THE FAIR TRADING ACT 1999 (VIC) Under the provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1999 (Vic) several conditions are implied into contracts for the supply of certain goods and services. These conditions mean that the supplier named on this form is required to ensure that the recreational services it supplies to you are: - rendered with due care and skill; - as fit for the purpose for which they are commonly bought as it is reasonable to expect in the circumstances; and - reasonably fit for any particular purpose or might reasonably be expected to achieve any result you have made known to the supplier. Under section 32N of the Fair Trading Act 1999, the supplier is entitled to ask you to agree that these conditions do not apply to you. If you sign this form, you will be agreeing that your rights to sue the supplier under the Fair Trading Act 1999 if you are killed or injured because the services were not rendered with due care and skill or they were not reasonably fit for their purpose, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in this form. INDEMNITY AND RELEASE GIVEN TO ORGANISERS IN CONSIDERATION of the acceptance of me as a participant in the Meeting: a) I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND KEEP INDEMNIFIED to the full extent permitted by law the Indemnitees and each of them in the following manner: i) that I participate in the meeting at my sole risk and responsibility; ii) that I accept the Venue as it stands with all or any defects hidden or iii) exposed; that I indemnify and hold harmless the Indemnitees, their respective servants, agents, officials and competitors against any actions, costs, losses or claims which may be made by me or on my behalf for or in respect of or arising out of my death or any injury loss or damage caused to me or my equipment whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other manner whatsoever. b) I AGREE TO RELEASE to the full extent permitted by law the Indemnitees and each of them from all liability to me for any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, psychological trauma, death, property damage or infringement of third party rights or otherwise) that arises as a result of any act, matter or thing done, permitted or omitted to be done by me or which is in any way connected with my presence at or involvement in the Event. 6. The release and indemnity provided by me in this declaration is in addition to, and will not in any way limit the application of, the conditions of sale attaching to tickets, conditions of entry, conditions of credentials or any other applicable terms or conditions in respect of the Event. 7. A term of this release and indemnity will not apply where the term contravenes the law of the relevant jurisdiction under which any legal action is legitimately taken however such terms are severable and do not invalidate the remaining terms. 8. MEDICAL I declare that I am and must continue to be medically and physically fit and able to participate in the Meeting. I will immediately notify MA in writing via my SCB of any change to my fitness and ability to participate. I understand and accept the Indemnitees will continue to rely upon this declaration as evidence of my fitness and ability to participate. 9. I acknowledge and agree that if required, the Indemnitees (or any of them) may arrange medical or hospital treatment (including ambulance transportation) for me. I authorise such actions being taken by the Indemnitees and agree to meet all costs associated with such action. I understand it is compulsory for me to have ambulance insurance in some form and I accept responsibility for the cost of ambulance transportation, ambulance cover and further agree to maintain ambulance cover during the term of my license / membership. 10. PRIVACY I hereby consent to the collection of my personal information by the Promoter/Event Organiser, MA and the SCB in connection with my involvement at the Event and the use and disclosure of my personal information by Event Organiser, and MA to other agencies and officials associated with the Event for the purposes of conducting and managing the Event. I understand that I may gain access to my personal information held by contacting MA at 147 Montague St, South Melbourne, Victoria, 3205. I understand that if I do not provide the personal information requested above that I may not be permitted to participate in the Event. 11. PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION I hereby agree with MA and the SCB that in consideration for my participation in the Event that MA and the SCB may receive, collect, store and use personal health information about me in the manner set out below: a) I ACKNOWLEDGE that: i) If I am injured, become ill or die at or following the Event the party listed at Item 8 in Schedule 1 in addition to any hospital at which I am treated (together my Carers ) will have health related information about me in their possession, power and control relating to me which is subject to obligations imposed by the Privacy Act ( my Information ) and the Privacy Act is intended to protect my personal information; ii) MA and my SCB wish to collect my Information for purposes that include their risk management programs, evaluating and improving It is reasonable for MA and my SCB to collect, store, use and disclose my Information in accordance with clause 11(a)(i) above and in the manner set out in clause 11(b). b) IN CONSIDERATION of my acceptance as an entrant in the Meeting I consent and agree that MA and my SCB: i) may collect and store any of my Information, including obtain my Information from third parties including my Carers; ii) iii) may use any information collected in accordance with this clause for any purpose consistent with creating safer competition in motorcycle sport and events held by or in conjunction with MA, my SCB, or with an MA or SCB permit; may disclose my Information to third parties provided such disclosure is reasonably intended to be used for the purpose of improving safety at events held by or in conjunction with MA, or with an MA permit provided any such information is held by MA or my SCB in accordance with the MA Privacy Policy. c) I irrevocably authorise MA and my SCB and hereby appoint MA and my SCB as my lawful attorneys to collect from my Carers, and I hereby direct my Carers to provide to MA or my SCB upon request being made by MA or my SCB, any of my Information including but not limited to any information concerning any incident or event causing or contributing to or resulting from any injury, illness or death to me, the details of any diagnosis and prognosis provided to me by my Carers (or any party with the knowledge of any of my Carers), and any other matter to the knowledge of my Carers that might reasonably be considered to be requested by MA or my SCB for the purpose of improving safety at MA and SCB events. 12. POLICIES AND REGULATIONS I acknowledge, understand and agree that it is a condition of my participation in the Event that I agree to be bound by, and subject to, the rules, regulations and jurisdiction of MA as amended from time to time. All participants are bound by the MA anti doping policy and thus understand they may be subject to drug testing. Testing conducted by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) is in accordance with the ASADA Act and the National Ant-Doping Scheme. This involves the taking of a sample (any human biological fluid or tissue whether alive or otherwise, or any human breath) for the purpose of detecting the use of a Prohibited Drug or Doping Method. Any participant infringing MA s policy or refusing a drug test may be disqualified or otherwise dealt with in accordance with the terms of the anti-doping policy.
