The project involves replacement of the Beartooth Lake outlet bridge and reconstruction of associated roadway bridge approaches, to include historic bridges interpretive site, lake overview parking area, and Beartooth Lake Campground approach road and intersection. The project is located on U.S. Highway 212 (Beartooth Highway), in Park County. The Federal Highway Administration, Central Federal Lands Highway Division, administered the project design, let the contract, and reviewed and accepted the bid provided by American Civil Constructors, Inc., of Littleton, Colorado.
