Procedures, Strategies, Culture 4x100 FREE 4x200 FREE Women 3:41.48 (55.37) 8:02.92 (2:00.73) Men 3:17.44 (49.48) 7:16.44 (1:49.11) The Discretionary Selection clause may be considered in the case 1. Freestyle Relay doesn t meet the Priority 3 criteria, the sum of the top four times from the Finals must equal or better the sum of the individual qualifying standards 2. Consideration for Relay Reserve each for the 4x100 Free Relay and 4x200 Free Relay Once a Team has been selected, and if a need deems necessary a Reserve (5 th swimmer) may be considered provided the 5 th place swimmer s time is equal to or faster than the individual qualifying standard. If the Discretion clause is exercised as in #1 above, the times from Swimmer #2, 3, 4 and 5 must equal or better than the sum of the individual qualifying standards. Refer to the above Table also with the ability to swim an appropriate individual race in the championships. Selection of such swimmer will take place after the initial naming of the team after further review # s 2,3,4,5 add to 341.28 equating to 55.30. Further to this the order of events for the first day has the Women s 50 Free as well as the 4x100 FR (the European rankings for the 4x100 FR would indicate we could swim to a final position without Pernille Blume)

Summary of Activities to date Orientation Camp September 2017- Jr, GD, Sr- Purpose to bring the National Team (Sr, GD and Jr select) together for Learning and establishing a strong foundation toward high performance results. Engaging TD Sport Experts in focused areas of athlete/coach education as well the cross collaboration with the Life Guard department for Team Building and Resiliency Training. 38 swimmers, 14 coaches, 8 Support Staff. Race Simulation Camp September 2017 Antwerp 10 swimmers, 6 coaches, 3 Support Staff: this activity can create some of the necessary elements in the performance moment that requires Resiliency Grit Focus Mental and Physical Stamina Execution of Skills under Race Stress Unique opportunity to monitor and gauge the measurements at the same time address any of the deficiencies in a skill learning session. This then can be applied for future training and preparation.
