NEWS IN THE MIDDLE FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER 2017 2017 News in the Middle February Newsletter 2017 TO EDUCATE, MOTIVATE AND INSPIRE IN THIS ISSUE A Message from Principal Yanok Staying involved! Why? When parents/guardians get involved in learning, student achievement soars. Middle schoolers score higher on test, turn in better projects and participate more in class if they know parents/guardian cares. When? You can be involved in your child s learning at any time of the day. Talk about homework while you are making dinner or watching a show together at night. Visit a place of interest on the weekend. You will show your child that you think learning is important.
