All exhibitors must wear USEF approved protective headgear when mounted. The committee, Andrew H. Philbrick, Hunter Farms management and staff will NOT be held responsible for any accident, loss, damage or injury (including death) occurring at the show. All pets must be leashed. Schooling breaks for hunters permitted before the show begins and scheduled breaks will be made periodically, time permitting. No charge for schooling. Jumpers may hack in the ring before the show begins and in between divisions. All classes are $25 unless otherwise noted. A $10 fee per exhibitor will be charged to cover office and EMT expenses. Riders may have never shown in any division, at any show, where the fence height specifications are 2 or higher. To be shown over a course less than 2 in height. To be judged on manners, performance & suitability. Riders may not cross enter into any other division or class at any competition other than Short Stirrup Equitation. This division may be combined with Beginner Hunter, if needed. Beginner Hunter: Open to horses & ponies ridden by riders of ANY age. Fences LESS THAN 2 in height. Section A: Rider may not have shown in a division, at any show, where the fence height specifications are 2 or higher. Riders in section A may not cross enter in any division or class at any competition where fences are 2 or higher. The rider will be no longer eligible for Beginner s. Section B: Horse or pony not to have shown in a division, at any competition, where fence height specifications are 2 or higher. Horses may not cross enter into any division or class where fences are 2 or higher at the same competition. This division may be combined with Short Stirrup Hunter, if needed. TROTTING ON COURSE NOT TO BE PENALIZED, ALTHOUGH AN UNINTENTIONAL BREAK OF GAIT WILL BE PENALIZED. Princeton/Suitable Hunter 3 : Open to all riders on horses and ponies. Riders on horses may not cross enter into class where fences exceed 3 at the same competition except (Children s Jumper, and Equitation classes that do not exceed 3 6 ). Horses and ponies may be jogged for soundness at the discretion of the judge. Class may be split between horses and ponies if more than three in each section. Combined with adult amateur hunter. To be run in accordance with USEF/USJHA Zone 2 Specifications. Fences 3 for Horses, 2 6 for Large ponies, 2 for Sm/Med ponies. Adult Amateur Hunter: To be shown by exhibitors who are no longer eligible to compete as junior exhibitors, who possess a valid current USEF Amateur Card. Ponies may be shown by adults; suitability to count. Fences 3, spreads not to exceed fence heights. To be run in accordance with USEF/USHJA Zone 2 specifications. Combined with Children s Hunter. Mini Stirrup Equitation: Open to junior exhibitors 10 years of age & under as of December 1st of the current show year. Riders may have never shown in any division at any competition where cantering is required or they are no longer eligible for the Mini Stirrup division. Riders not to have shown over fences 2 or higher at a USEF recognized show. Short Stirrup Equitation: Open to junior exhibitors 12 years of age & under as of December 1st of the current show year. To be shown over a course less than 2 in height. Riders may never have shown in any division, at any show, where the fence height specifications are 2 or higher. Riders may not cross enter into any other division or class where fence heights are 2 or higher. This division may be combined with Beginner Equitation, if there are less than 3 exhibitors in each section. Cross Rail Equitation: Open to all beginner type riders. Cantering to be done in single file or small groups. Trotting of crossrails is permitted. Height of crossrails not to exceed 18. Riders cannot cross enter into any other jumping division.

To be shown over a course of eight (8) fences, with one change of direction. Fences 2 for ponies. Fences 2 6 for horses. Riders may not cross enter into Children s Hunter horse or pony, Pony Hunter or any class at the same competition where fences exceed 2 6. Children s Equitation 3 Classes 62-65: Open to junior riders who have not won six (6) blue ribbons at a recognized show as of December 1st of the current show year. To be shown over at least eight (8) fences 3 in height with at least one change of direction. Riders may not have won any equitation class at 3 6 or higher prior to December 1st of the current show year.
