Team Formation The Football Program has four age divisions: Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget, and Midget (see attached chart for age placement information). After your child has been placed on a Jr. Rattler squad, a copy of the school enrollment form (first-year players only) and the remainder of the registration paperwork must be submitted prior to certification. Football Expectations This will be a competitive program with emphasis placed on building confidence, developing leaders, and having fun. Players will practice 5 days a week during the conditioning/try-outs. Once regular season begins, players will be expected to practice 3-4 days per week with games on Saturdays. Players will need to be in good physical shape and be able to demonstrate endurance, flexibility, strength, and discipline. For example, a well-hydrated player should be able to run 1 mile in the dry heat without stopping at the beginning of practice each day. Page 2 of 5
