Fit Foodie 5K Starting Line - about fit foodie The Cooking Light & Health magazine s Fit Foodie 5K Weekend is jam-packed with celebrity chef tastings, cooking and fitness demonstrations, yoga sessions, and a Power Systems fitness bootcamp, all led by celebrity trainers and fitness experts. The race weekends were held in ; ; and and brought together those who love fitness and love food. This healthy lifestyle balance was celebrated over three days, beginning with the Light Up the Night VIP Party followed by the 5K race and Finisher s Village, ending the weekend with yoga or bootcamp and refresh and refuel brunch.

Guests mingled with celeb chefs, Editors from Cooking Light & Health, and fellow Fit Foodies to get energized for the big day. the FIT FOODIE 5k race Ready, set, go! To the most delicious 5K race around! Over 1,000 runners navigated their way around the Fit Foodie 5K course. On the morning of the race, they pumped up with a group stretch and dance party to loosen up those muscles in preparation for the Race, then cruised across the finish line to celebrate at the Finisher s Village with refuel stations, celebrity chef demos and tastings, fitness demos at the Power Systems stage, Stella Artois beer and wine tastings, giveaways, and delicious bites from DC chefs, sponsors, and more!
