HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION The product has been classified according to the legislation in force: Carc3; R40 Xn;R65 R66 R52/53 Human health: Organic solvents may be absorbed into the body by inhalation and ingestion and cause permanent damage to the nervous system, including the brain. Droplets of the product aspirated into the lungs through ingestion or vomiting may cause a serious chemical pneumonia. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect. Environment: Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. 4. FIRST-AID MEASURES Inhalation: Move injured person into fresh air immediately. Call an ambulance. Be aware that symptoms of lung edema (shortness of breath) may develop up to 24 hours after exposure. Take along these instructions. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothes and rinse skin thoroughly with water. In case of rashes, wounds or other skin disorders: Seek medical attention and bring along these instructions. Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. 2/ 6 5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Extinguishing media: Extinguish with carbon dioxide or dry powder. Cool containers exposed to heat with water spray and remove container, if no risk is involved. Specific hazards: By heating and fire, harmful vapors/gases may be formed. Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the floor and in the bottom of containers. Vapors may be ignited by a spark, a hot surface or an ember. Protective equipment for fire-fighters: Use air-supplied respirator during fire fighting. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal precautions: Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with skin and eyes. Do not smoke, use open fire or other sources of ignition. For personal protection, see section 8. Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Methods for cleaning up: Absorb spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material. For waste disposal, see section 13. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Safe handling advice: Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with skin and eyes. Observe good industrial hygiene practices. Technical measures: Use work methods which minimize aerosol production. Avoid exposure to temperatures above the flash point. Technical precautions: Local exhaust is recommended. Provide easy access to water supply or an emergency shower. Technical measures for safe storage: No special precautions. Storage conditions: Store in tightly closed original container in a well-ventilated place. Store segregated from other chemicals (oxidizing agent).

3/ 6 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Engineering measures: Provide adequate ventilation. Observe Occupational Exposure Limits and minimize the risk of inhalation of vapors and spray mist. Chemical name: Exposure limits: Type: Notes: References: Diesel fuel, as total 100 mg/m³ TWA Skin; A3 ACGIH hydrocarbons-vapor and aerosol Keosene-as total 200 mg/m³ TWA Skin; A4 ACGIH hydrocarbon vapor Bis-(2-Methoxypropyl) ether 100 ppm 150 ppm TWA STEL Skin 15min ACGIH Dipropylene glycol methyl ether 100 ppm 600 mg/m³ TWA Skin OSHA Respiratory equipment: In case of inadequate ventilation and work of brief duration, use suitable respiratory equipment. Use respiratory equipment with gas filter, type A2. Hand protection: Risk of contact: Wear protective gloves. Nitrile gloves are recommended, but be aware that the liquid may penetrate the gloves. Frequent change is advisable. The most suitable glove must be chosen in consultation with the gloves supplier, who can inform about the breakthrough time of the glove material. Eye protection: Risk of splashes: Wear goggles/face shield. Skin protection: Wear apron or protective clothing in case of splashes. Hygiene measures: Wash hands after contact. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Environmental Exposure Controls: Demand for control of air pollution. 9.
