Miss Trail Blazers Participant Agreement ELIGIBILITY: The following are the contestant qualifications: A. Must not be less than 16 years of age or more than 25 years of age at the time of the Trail Blazers Rodeo June 21, 22 & 23, 2018 B. May either be an amateur or professional horsewoman or rodeo contestant. C. Shall never have been married, have had a child, or have minor dependents. D. Former Miss Trail Blazers titleholders are not eligible. E. Must be a United States citizen and reside within the State of Illinois F. Contestants are required to be on time and adhere to the schedule of the contest. Tardiness will be deducted from judge s points. G. Contestants must have a suitable horse for the competition, rodeo and other related events. Horse must be able to perform in a rodeo atmosphere without difficulty. H. Parents, friends and relatives are welcome to attend the contest but must not attempt to influence any judges. Such behavior will result in disqualification of contestant from contest. I. Must dress in full western apparel including hat, boots, belt, western shirt and jeans.
QUEEN AGREEMENT If I am chosen as Miss Trail Blazers Queen I agree to: Avail myself to all opportunities to promote Trail Blazers Rodeo and speak with authority to the public about the sport of rodeo. This includes but not limited to visits to local businesses, day care and nursing homes. I will be prepared for photographs and interview opportunities at all times. I also agree to represent Miss Trail Blazers at any local event or function that may present itself during my reign as Miss Trail Blazers I agree that throughout my reign as Miss Trail Blazers Queen, I shall remain unmarried and shall observe a high standard of moral and ethical behavior in public. I agree that my behavior and all online posts reflecting myself will be befitting my title and setting a good example to the public, future competitors and Piatt County Trail Blazers. This is including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Youtube and the like. Improper content found online or in public can be subject to disciplinary action up to and when necessary the removal of the title of Miss Trail Blazers. I agree to attend and participate at all of the required events and performances of the 2018 Piatt County Trail Blazers Rodeo: Thursday June 21, 2018 - Rodeo 7:00 PM Friday June 22, 2018- Coronation and Rodeo at 7:00 PM I will carry the victory lap flag after each event during the rodeo performance on Friday and Saturday evening. Saturday June 23, 2018 Parade at 10 am (Must ride horse in parade). Kids and Clowns lunch at 11:30am (Must attend). Rodeo - 7:00 PM I will be present for all 3 rodeo performances of the 2019 Rodeo to be held June 20, 21 & 22, 2019.
I agree that if I so desire to run for rodeo queen at any other level, it will be completely at my own expense and responsibility. I also understand that Trail Blazers will not be obligated for funding. By entering into this contest and assuming the title of Miss Trail Blazers Rodeo I agree that I have read and understand the Rules and Regulations and will abide by these rules during the entire Miss Trail Blazers Rodeo contest and during my reign as Miss Trail Blazers Rodeo.
