The Lkes Entrnce Bowls Club hs mny exciting events plnned for the up nd coming yer, so keep your eyes open for news nd events round the Club nd on our website. It ll begins on April 1 st 2014. The Clubs Bord of Mngement hs mde the decision to replce our current point of sle, membership nd reporting systems. The current BLUIZE system is very old nd outdted nd hs been brrier to progress for our Club for some time now so the decision to upgrde the system will be crucil to the progression of our Club moving forwrd. The Club will hve greter bilities in terms of reporting nd trcking, more orgnised nd collted dtbses of members, more efficient registers nd point of sle systems, greter stock mngement nd control, improved finncil/mngement reporting nd not to mention greter mrketing nd promotion opportunities, nd the list goes on. One such improvement will be the plnned overhul nd improvement of the current membership loylty nd ccounting system. The current system will be gretly simplified nd we expect tht once introduced, our members nd stff will pprecite the chnges. As of April 1 st 2014 listed below re some of the improvements nd chnges to our Club s point of sle system, nd lso few new rules which will pply t the beginning of the Clubs next finncil yer. Membership points system Members will ccrue 2 points for every dollr spent cross the br nd in our Club bistro. Previous system only ccrued point ginst br spend. Loylty point redemption nd vlue 1 loylty point will be equivlent to 1 cent in vlue. For exmple - 100 Points = $1 500 Points = $5 1471 points = $14.71 NICE AND SIMPLE! All membership crds cn ccrue loylty points to mximum of 8000, or $80. This mens if you ccrue your membership points nd they rech 8000 points your crd will not continue to ccrue gin until you redeem or spend some of the points off the blnce. All membership loylty points ccrued during Club finncil yer will expire on the first dy of the following Club finncil yer 1 st of April, if not spent or redeemed. Members who intend to use their loylty points to renew their membership must do so prior to April 1 st ech yer beginning in 2015. The Bord of Mngement hve mde this decision to void crrying forwrd huge libility from yer to yer. The Bord hve lso decided to ensure members hve been provided fir opportunity to be informed of this new condition to our Clubs Loylty points, so this new rule will not pply until April 1 st 2015. Any points ccrued over the next finncil period which hve not been redeemed or spent prior to April 1 st 2015 will expire. Current Point blnces All membership blnces remining on members crds up to the vlue of $80 will be trnsferred cross to the new system, nd be vilble for use on April 1 st 2014. If your current membership crd hs more thn $80 of points ccrued nd is not redeemed or spent prior to the 1 st April 2014 then you will be issued with voucher for the overs mount bove $80 which will expire on 31 st Mrch 2015. 2

No crd/no discount rule The new system will not process or defult to membership discount unless membership crd is swiped through the ctul terminl. Stff will not hve the bility to force discount mnully through the registers s of the 1 st of April. This new system controls the incorrect lloction of membership points nd lso ensures tht only members of the Lkes Entrnce Bowls Club ttrct discounts. If member loses or misplce their membership crd, members will be ble to purchse nother membership crd from Reception on presenttion of identifiction for the nominl cost of $1. Membership discounts As of April 1 st 2014 new two tier pricing level will be introduced. At present we hve four different levels of pricing, nmely Non-member, Socil member, Restricted member nd Full member. This four level pricing structure will be reduced to Non-member nd Member. The different levels of membership will not chnge neither will the clssifictions, the discount mount offered on products however will be the sme cross ll members. The Lkes Entrnce Bowls Club lso plns to improve the items tht members re ble to spend their points on. We re currently looking into number of options including, incresed vilbility of bottle shop items such s bottles of spirits nd wines, the bility to buy rffle tickets, entertinment/show tickets, introducing rewrds prize cbinet nd introducing Lkes Entrnce Bowls Club dollrs which cn be spent loclly t certin shops round town. A five dollr membership represents gret vlue when you consider ll the gret fcilities nd benefits which our Club provides to its members on dily bsis.
