In his third year at the helm, Dachille guided the Blue Hose to a 2-14 overall record with a 1-6 mark in conference play. Senior captain Maura Talvacchia earned Preseason All-Big South honors, was named Defensive Player of the Week on February 14, was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team, and led the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.63) at the end of the season. Talvacchia was also tied for third in the nation in ground balls per game (4.00) with teammate and freshman goalie Kayla Koch. The team earned its first win of the season with a 12-5 final over Butler on March 10 and earned its lone Big South victory with a 17-6 decision at Gardner-Webb on April 8. Year two under Dachille saw the team finish 3-15, with Dachille picking up his first Big South win with a 13-8 victory over Radford on April 9, 2016. The 2016 campaign saw seven athletes break into the top-10 or move up in the record book in multiple categories. The team had two players voted all-conference, one for athletics and one for academics. Dachille s first season produced many record-setting performances, including Katy Richardson s single game school record nine goals scored against Delaware State on March 28, 2015, as the team finished 3-14. Talvacchia recorded a school-record eight caused turnovers against Campbell on April 17, 2015 and set PC s single-season and career records in caused turnovers and PC s single-season record for ground balls in 2015. The Blue Hose ended the season with three all-conference honorees. Dachille came to Presbyterian from Erskine College, where he was the head women s lacrosse coach for three seasons. Under his leadership, the team set the school record in wins per season, each season improving from the previous year. He also led the team to the first ever appearance in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. While at Erskine, he recruited and coached talented student-athletes who excelled on the field and in the classroom. Under his leadership over the past three seasons, the team produced 10 All-Conference and 12 Academic All-Conference players, as well as the 2014 Conference Carolina Freshman of the Year in Alexandra Cole. His team posted a 3.25 GPA to be named the 2013 IWLCA Honor Squad. Cole has since joined the PC program in 2015 and was a valuable addition this past season. Recently, Dachille has served as camp director for lacrosse camps throughout South Carolina including the Nike Lacrosse Camp and Carolina Revolution. Prior to coaching at Erskine, Dachille was an assistant lacrosse coach at Medway High School in Medway, Ma., where he helped guide the team to the second ever appearance in the state tournament. Dachille is a 2007 graduate of Wake Forest University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He obtained his Masters in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University in 2010.
