Magic Pass Pre-Show Event Before the game, take part in a once-in-a-lifetime experience with your family where you have an opportunity to spend time on the court with the Globetrotters - shooting, trying out ball tricks, and getting autographs, and photos! What: Our second Box Top Store of the school year! Who: Anyone with unexpired Box Tops When: Friday, January 19 at lunch Where: Cafeteria Stage Why: To earn money for Rooster Springs! Your students can bring in clipped Box Tops and use those to buy items at our Box Top Store. We ll have sports balls, stuffed animals, small toys lots of items to choose from! Even one Box Top can get a sticker or temporary tattoo, so send in whatever you have. Please have Box Tops in a baggie or envelope marked with the number of unexpired Box Tops contained within. Each Box Top represents 10 so they add up really quickly. Please check expiration dates!!! The more you clip, the more our school earns! TALENT SHOW 2018 CATEGORIES Within Reach February 22nd & 23rd @ 7 pm Rooster Springs Cafeteria Singing, Dancing, Musical Instrument, Miscellaneous (Skits, Comedy, Poetry Reading, Magic, Juggling, Puppets, Jump Rope, etc.) GUIDELINES 1. Time Limit: 2 Minutes Maximum (ask if you need assistance in cutting music) 2. Maximum of two Acts per child (1 group and 1 solo OR 2 group acts) 3. No Lip-sync or air guitar - singers must provide their own wordless karaoke music 4. Participation is limited to current Rooster Springs Students (outside accompaniment must be pre-recorded) 5. There will be two unique shows (February 22 & February 23) and acts will be assigned to either Thursday or Friday. We will attempt to accommodate scheduling conflicts. 6. Participants are required to stay for the entire show they are performing in, to encourage other acts and limit show disruptions. 7. Content should be family friendly. If you have questions regarding appropriateness, please ask. PTA will have final say over content approval. MANDATORY DATES Tryouts: February 1st 6 8 pm or February 2nd 3:30 6:00 pm Performers can tryout either day. Registration Form and Music must be turned in at time of Tryout. (Music must be submitted in mp3 format either on a CD, zip drive or e-mailed to Melanie Engels at talent@rsespta.org If you need music for your tryout and you do not have it, you will be turned away. Rehearsals: February 15th and 16th from 7 pm 9 pm Students MUST attend and run through their act/piece; however they may leave after they have rehearsed. Show dates! February 22nd and 23rd @ 7pm Performers arrive at 6:30 pm for RSES Talent Show. The Show is scheduled from 7 9 pm with an intermission approximately half way through the show order.
