Lions Cheer Company Quarter Season Team Information Interest Meeting: Thursday, January 12 6:30 Parents and athletes are both welcome to attend. Team Commitment and Uniform Deposit: Must be made by January 16 to get uniforms in time. Tumbling Tryout: Attend one of the 3 options January 12 7:30-8:30 or January 16 11:30-12:15 or 7:00-7:30 (You only need to be there for about 20 minutes to show skills) *If one of the dates cannot be made, please email for a private tryout. **This tryout will follow IHSA by-law 3.102, making the tryout allowable during High School season. It will ONLY be a demonstration of skill, not practice or instruction. Team information: This will be for high school age only. We can only accept a maximum of 25 members due to our pre-determined USASF Division size. Team level will need to be an average of the skills the team members have. Should there be a wide divide in skill level, we will consider splitting into 2 teams should that work better. Open Gym: January 26 7:15-8:45 (Encouraged so team members can get to know one another before practices begin) Practices: Twice per week for 2 hours beginning immediately after IHSA State (February 5) February: Thursdays 7:00-9:00 & Sundays 7:00-9:00 (Feb 26 will be 5:30-7:30 due to full season teams at competition) March: Thursdays 7:00-9:00 & Sundays - March 5 5:30-7:30, competitions on next 2 Sundays, March 26 6:30-8:30. April: Sunday April 2 & Thursday April 6 (times TBA) *Will potentially schedule extra practices should they be needed. Choreography: February 11 11am-5pm (mandatory for all team members) Competition Dates (NO competitions can be missed): March 4 Normal, IL March 18-19 Schaumburg, IL (hotel must be booked through LCC link, as this event is Stay to Play, and they require booking through a specific company) March 11-12 Rosemont, IL (make your own hotel reservation) April 8 or 9 Indianapolis, IN (will be one day or the other, but not sure which one yet) Costs and Payment Schedule: -Uniforms (deposit due January 16): Estimated Uniform Cost- $200 + Bow for girls - $23 -Annual registration fee (due January 16) - $25 (if already taking classes, this may be up-to-date) -Tuition Includes USASF Member Fee $30, coaches fees, music/choreography $100, competition fees $470, and gym tuition $200. It will be 3 installments of $280 each due Feb 1 and 15 and March 1. -Practice top $10-$45 depending on what you choose LCC sports bra, tank, or t-shirt (w/ black shorts). Other Information: -Will abide to Lions Handbook -May ask if some people would like a position on a full season team depending on the need -Plain white cheer shoes (Nfinity, etc) will be needed by all members

Lions Cheer Company Cheerleader/Parent Code of Conduct and Handbook Agreement Form I will come to practice on time with a positive attitude and dressed appropriately, and I will give my best effort towards the agenda set by the coaching staff. I will not disrespect any team member, coach, or competitor for any reason at any time. I understand that my actions 24 hours a day are a representation of my team and LCC. I understand that this is a 2.5-month commitment and that my team is depending on me to fulfill my responsibilities as a team member. I am also aware that if I fail to honor my commitment, no refund for any reason will be given. I understand that time is essential to the program. I will do all that is necessary to get to practice on time and be there for the full practice. I understand that I cannot miss any competitions. I will attend parents meetings and retrieve information in which the LCC staff had prepared for educating me on upcoming schedules, etc. I understand that there is a monthly financial commitment. I agree to pay by each established deadline. I have carefully read and I fully understand and accept all information covered in the Lions Handbook.
