Junior Golf Programs The Junior Golf programs at Town & Country are designed to be fun and fast-moving while maximizing juniors on-course time. The goal is to get the juniors to play as much golf as possible, while learning fundamentals that will lay the foundation for enjoyment of a game that will last a lifetime. The programs will promote player development, knowledge of the game, the rules of golf and proper golf course etiquette in an atmosphere that will make them want to come back time and time again. Young people will be taught to appreciate both the social and competitive facets of golf. These experiences foster appreciation of values such as honor, respect and sportsmanship that they will carry with them throughout their lives. Head Golf Professional, Ryan Rindels, and his staff have over 40 years of combined experience in junior instruction, while still being kids at heart themselves. The skills-based programs are designed to be fun and informative. However, strong student desire to participate and improve is necessary for the enjoyment of all. Summer is a busy time for all families. Our junior program is designed to accommodate any schedule. T&C offers five sessions of Junior Golf Clinics, an On-Course League, a Junior Players League, SNAG golf clinics, and a Junior Club Championship. In addition, our professional staff is available for individual or group lessons. S.N.A.G. GOLF (Start New at Golf) For: Boys and Girls ages 5-8, no golf experience necessary. Cost: $20 per clinic It's fun. It's easy to learn. It's easy to teach. SNAG contains all the basic elements of golf but in a modified form. Falling somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf, SNAG allows for full shots, pitching, chipping and putting. The SNAG experience is obtained using oversize clubs, tennis balls, and Velcro targets. We will be offering several SNAG Clinics throughout the year.
