For event no. 2 the organizer will provide accommodation for the top 8 Main Draw teams per gender (as per Confirmed List 10 days before the event). Detailed information for each event can be found in the Practical Info documents on the respective event webpages on the CEV website.

1.2 RULES OF THE GAME All events of the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour are organised and played under the Official Snow Volleyball Rules, which will be confirmed by the FIVB Board of Administration shortly. Here is a short summary of the main rule changes: Matches are played 3 vs. 3 with potentially one substitute player Sets are played until 15 points with a minimum 2-point lead in a best-of-three format Court switch after 5 points in all sets Block touch not counting as first hit 2 substitutions allowed per set (could be involving different players) 1.3 REGISTRATION OF TEAM AND PLAYERS 1.3.1 Manual registration via registration form for the first three events Teams can be registered exclusively by their respective National Federation 15 days at the latest before the start of the event they intend to join via the registration form (in annex). Players need to be registered in the VIS. Any teams having difficulties to register through their National Federation are invited to contact the CEV Snow Volleyball Department (snow@cev.eu) 17 days at the latest before the start of the event and provide the following information for each player in order to be registered. 1.3.2 Online registration via VIS Following the completion of the VIS online registration system for Snow Volleyball 3 vs. 3 competitions the manual registrations and registrations for all remaining events of the season needs to be also done in the VIS as follows: The National Federations have to register their teams through the VIS. Each National Federation is provided with an individual and secured user access (user name and password) through its own e-mail address. a) After Log in, the National Federation may select any team and register it in the CEV competitions by following this procedure: Select first player if the player is already registered with a Volleyball or Beach Volleyball profile do not create a new profile (To select the status Snow contact the webmaster (vis@fivb.org and snow@cev.eu); Select his/her teammates; Select any available tournament from the Calendar; Confirm the entry of the team. b) The team is automatically registered in the selected CEV competition database and is instantly included in the Entry List posted on the CEV website for each CEV competition. While this procedure allows the National Federations to directly control that their teams are correctly entered, it also gives them the opportunity to immediately contact the webmaster (vis@fivb.org and snow@cev.eu) in case a technical problem occurs. c) Each National Federation may directly enter new CEV/FIVB players as the computer instantly generates CEV/FIVB # for the new player as well as a user name and password. d) The entry deadline for each event is communicated on the CEV website. e) Each National Federation and players will be responsible for checking the entry and points through Internet by consulting the Entry List for each event. f) The Entry List is an ongoing information available on the CEV website and up to -15 days can be amended by each participating National Federation. The following procedure shall apply: a) 15 days before the start of the event: Official entry deadline, no further teams may be entered. The only exception are late entries approved by the CEV. b) 10 days before the start of the event: CEV publishes on the CEV website the Confirmed List. The 2019 SV-01 NF-Athlete s Commitment & M3 Health Certificate shall be downloaded from the download section of the CEV website, duly filled, signed and presented during the Preliminary Inquiry. 1.4 ALLOCATION OF TEAMS All teams entered in an event are distributed between the Main Draw, Qualification Tournament and Reserve List according to their CEV Snow Volleyball Entry Ranking 10 days before the competition taking into consideration the country quotas. For teams consisting of 4 players only the sum of points from the best 3 players are counting. Number of Main Draw teams 16 12 Host Country teams Foreign teams per NF Min. 4 Max. 6 Min. 1 Max. 4 Min. 3 Max. 4 Min. 1 Max. 3 Wild Card teams Max. 2 Max. 2 From Qualification Tournament (irrespective from the above Country Quota) 2 2 1.5 RIGHT OF PARTICIPATION OF TEAMS The right of participation shall become effective as soon as the teams names appear on the Confirmed List established by CEV for each event. The Confirmed List is sent to the National Federations concerned. It is the National Federations responsibility to inform their players accordingly. A team is composed of 3 or 4 players of the same nationality and same gender. 1.6 RIGHT OF PARTICIPATION OF PLAYERS A player wishing to take part in a CEV sanctioned competition must possess the nationality of the country he/she intends to play for. Only players not suspended by CEV and/or FIVB for the event concerned are allowed to participate. The CEV Snow Volleyball Player s Commitment shall be duly signed by the concerned player(s) and must be presented during the Preliminary Inquiry before each event the player participates in. If not, the player will be not allowed to participate. Page 3 of 5

1.7 WILD CARDS CEV has the right to grant up to 2 Wild Cards for the Main Draw per event upon request of National Federations or upon its own initiative. The deadline to submit wild card requests for National Federations to the CEV office is 15 days before the event using the SV-02 form. The allocation of wild card(s) will be communicated with the Confirmed List 10 days before the event. For every unused Wild Card, the next eligible team of the Confirmed List will be admitted directly to the Main Draw. 1.8 RANKINGS 1.8.1 Entry Ranking The CEV Snow Volleyball Entry Ranking is calculated by adding each player s points earned in CEV/FIVB sanctioned or homologated Snow Volleyball events over a 365-days period. It is used for the entry and seeding in a CEV competition. 1.8.2 European Tour Ranking The CEV European Tour Ranking is a cumulative ranking only for 2018/2019 CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour events. The purpose of this ranking is to designate the best ranked player(s) over one season (King(s) and Queen(s) of the Snow). 1.9 PRIZE MONEY The prize money will be paid to the respective National Federations, which are in charge of transferring the prize money to the players. 1.10 MAKE AND TYPE OF BALLS The ball to be used is the new developed MIKASA Snow Volleyball. All players will be requested to fill out a questionnaire regarding the new ball during/after the competition. 1.11 VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURE Players, Officials, Coaches and National Federations are requested to apply early enough for visas, whenever needed. The hosting National Federation or organiser should be contacted to receive an invitation letter for the event. 2. FINANCIAL REGULATIONS 2.1 ENTRY FEE Each registered team shall pay on site in cash during the Preliminary Inquiry an entry fee for each competition amounting to 30,- EUR Page 4 of 5

2.2 LICENSE FEE For each player applying for participation in any competition of the 2018/2019 season the respective National Federation shall pay, upon receipt of the respective CEV invoice, a license fee amounting to to the bank account of the CEV: 20,- EUR BGL BNP Paribas in Luxembourg, IBAN: LU12 0030 4427 2960 1000 SWIFT: BGLLLULL This fee has to be paid only once per season per player. 3. FURTHER INFORMATION All-important information about the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour in addition to the CEV Snow Volleyball Competitions Regulations and CEV Snow Volleyball Guidelines will be circulated to the National Federations using the. Additional information concerning the competitions and the registered teams will be posted in the Snow Volleyball section of the CEV website: www.cev.eu.
