Electronic Timing Overall depth 2 metres. Session One - Warm Up 9.30 am- Start 10.35 am Session Two - Warm Up 2.30 pm - Start 3.35 pm (SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF NECESSARY) Events Boys/Girls 9 years 100m All Strokes 10/11 years 100m All Strokes 12/13 years 100m All Strokes 14-16 years 100m All Strokes Open 100m & 200m IM All events will be heat declared winner. Swimmers entering the Open IM events must qualify and enter an individual event to enter this event We reserve the right to swim a slower heat of Dyce (Aberdeen) ASC Swimmers Age As on day of competition (i.e. 27 March 2010) Awards Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. A Trophy will be awarded to the team accumulating the most points. Points will be awarded: 1st - 3 points, 2nd - 2 points, 3rd - 1 point. Accreditation Application for accreditation will be made to SASA North District in accordance with the licence application. All swimmers must be member of the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association. Entries All entries must be submitted electronically using a Hy-Tek Meet Manager entry file. Entry files can be down loaded from the North District Website, or by emailing dyceasc@hotmail.com. Completed Hy-Tek entry files should be sent to the above email address by the closing date, acknowledgements will be sent upon receipt. Time cards are not required. A draft programme and a list of rejected swimmers, if applicable, will be emailed to each club. Withdrawals Withdrawals prior to the competition should be emailed to dyceasc@hotmail.com to arrive no later than 5.00 pm on Friday 26 March 2010. Telephone withdrawals will not be accepted under any circumstances. Withdrawals in the day should be submitted to the recorders table prior to the start of each warm up and made on the withdrawal forms made available. Arrival Cameras/ Videos/ Mobile Phones Please advise your swimmers that they should not arrive too early as they will not gain entrance to the pool until 9.15 am at the very earliest. Please note that anyone wishing to use photographic equipment, including video cameras must register with the Meet Convenor (application should be made on the appropriate SASA Health and Safety form). The use of mobile phones will not be permitted either on poolside or in the changing areas in order to prevent any misuse of mobiles with integrated digital camera/video equipment. We would be grateful if you could ensure that all members of your club are aware of this requirement. Other Meet Rules Over the top starts will be used, except in Backstroke events. All swimmers are required to report to the Marshall prior to their event. Dyce (Aberdeen) ASC reserve the right to restrict entries to facilitate the efficient running of the event in order to comply with the meet licence granted. Swimmers must follow the instructions given to them by the meet officials and behave in a reasonable manner at all times. Lockers provided in the changing rooms should be used for clothes and other belongings at all times, to keep cubicles free for other swimmers. The meet organisers cannot be held responsible for items lost during the course of the meet. Food must not be eaten on poolside and no glassware should be taken onto poolside or into the changing area. Footwear must be used outside the pool area.
