It is both high-pointing and fast, but also seakindly. It is a boat made to go around the world or cruise local waters. There is space for all the modern comfort aids. Hull and deck are GRP, built under supervision of Lloyd's Register of Shipping. The hull is insulated above the water line. Deck is GRP sandwich construction, 35mm for strength and insulation. The lead keel is attached with stainless steel bolts. The mast is stepped on a base on the cabintop directly over a reinforced bulk head. Cockpit protected by permanent windscreens in tempered glass in light alloy frames. The middle pane opens. Sprayhood in synthetic material with aluminum frames. Handrails, companionway, hatch guides, sole and seats in cockpit are all in solid teak. The cabin is done in selected teak, hand-rubbed and treated to a silk smooth finish. The seagoing galley so arranged that one can work safely even in heavy seas, and has deep, double sinks and a well-insulated icebox. Accommodation ZETA is the two cabin version of the Hallberg-Rassy 46. All interior woodwork is finished in teak, making the cabin much lighter than the usual mahogany finish. All uphostlery has recently been replaced which really does make ZETA stand out. The aft cabin has a large double berth, positioned centrally in the cabin with a seat to port. There is plenty of locker space throughout. The ensuite heads are to starboard with a seperate shower, sea toilet and hand basin with hot and cold water. Walking forward the engine access is down to your right and the chart/navigation table is in front positioned to port, facing forward the VHF, chartplotter, switch panel etc are all mounted at the chart table. In the main saloon there is a large dinning table with L-shaped sofa seating around it and a seperate sofa on the starboard side. There is ample storage behind and below the sofas. The galley is to the starboard side of the companionway, it is well equipped with a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water and a foot pump as reserve, a built in 24v fridge, a 'Force 10' cooker with 3 burners and an oven. There is also plenty of stowage for pots and pans etc. In the walkthrough from the main cabin to the forward cabin the is a single berth/sofa to starboard and the forward heads are to port, again with a seperate shower and space for a washing machine to be installed. The walkway works well as an extension to the forward cabin if only two cabins are required. The forward cabin has a spacious double 'V' berth with storage all around.
