PROFILE Mr.C.V.NAGRAJ Mr. C. V. Nagraj, Founder & Chief Coach of The School Of Powertennis established the academy in the year 1991 and ever since it has grown in popularity. Coming from a family of sports persons, Mr.Nagraj is a former professional Tennis player who has dreams of developing youth tennis. He pursued his post graduation in physical education from Anamalai University, specialization being lawn tennis, after obtaining a certificate from National Institute of Sports. His love for tennis and an urge to produce many players on par with international standards, Mr. Nagraj started his coaching camp and has been successful in producing many International and National level players. As on date, three of the top fifteen of AITA ranked players Vishnu Vardhan (AITA ranked 2, ITF ranked 285) and Saketh Myneni (AITA ranked 3, ITF ranked 387) and P.C.Vignesh (AITA ranked 13,ITF ranked 1177 ) have been training under him since a decade and a half. His ward, Vishnu Vardhan has represented India recently at the London 2012 Olympics. He played the singles and partnered Leander Paes in the Men s doubles. Also, to Nagraj s credits, two among the four of the 2012 Davis Cup squad are his students. Both Vishnu Vardhan and Saketh Myneni have been selected and will play for the Davis cup starting sept 14 2012. It takes a very special kind of person to deal with difficult situations that a tennis player faces professionally and to efficiently meet the coach`s responsibility in training the player. With all his experience, knowledge, qualities, caring nature, comes a fun filled, high paced training environment that you will love. His winning smile and affable nature always make everyone comfortable. His mission is to create world class players for India.
