Who are we? Club Philosophy and Activities 4
Dëschtennis Saint Hubert Bridel A platform to play on competitive and leisure levels The DT Bridel is one of the most successful table tennis clubs in Luxembourg. It is particularly successful due to its outstanding training work in the children's and youth field. It is important for us to provide the children with fun through sports and make them exercise in a pleasant social environment. We offer something for everybody - the ambitious, performance-oriented players as well as the recreational sportsmen. Our sports club is a social platform and lives up its social responsibilities by organizing several events, such as the children's tournament, the Grand Prix tournament, training camps for the young people in Luxembourg and Bosnia, barbecue parties, but also cozy sitting together and eating after the matches. This can only be achieved by experienced and professional trainers, who ensure the development of our young players. To these professional trainers, who are also playing for us in our first team, we offer a workplace and a perspective. They are the ones that support, motivate and develop the players in all areas. Most of this success is financed and supported by the large number of volunteers that constitute our club and that often lend their helping hands. In order to continue our work and to involve us even more in social projects, we need strong partners that can help us to finance these activities. 5

The range is expanded by the possibility of individual training with one of the professional trainers. The training is carried out in 5 languages. 7
Training Table Tennis Camps High-quality table tennis training complementing the regular trainings. Making the experience and know-how of our trainers accessible to a broader public. The short paths and multilingualism open up the interest in the greater large Luxembourg region with its direct neighbors Germany, France and Belgium. The TT-Camp is aimed at ambitious players of all performance classes and allows them to develop their skills under expert guidance. Day, weekend and holiday courses are offered. The offer of group courses is supplemented by the possibility of individual individual training with a coach of the TT-Camp. Sports activities A broad range of club activities is important For years, we have been taking part in various championships with a broad base of teams. In the current season we are participating in the national team championships with: 5 Senior teams 5 Youth teams Our players also represent the colors of the club at many tournaments that take place almost every weekend in different places in Luxembourg. We also organize several tournaments in our sports hall in Bridel Grand Prix DT Bridel National tournament with over 300 inscriptions Tournament Lucien Wercollier Youth tournament for Préminimes & Minimes Every year, our players average about 50 places on the winner's podiums All of these activities contribute to bind the members to the association and allows a broad public presence. 11
Social Impact Sports & Fun The aim of the club is not only to promote top performances, but it also has a very important social and socio-political mission. Through moderate contributions, it offers members of socially weak families regular training opportunities and access to sporting success. Especially in table tennis it is possible that the whole family is doing sports. Playing table tennis promotes good health and can be played by everybody. We especially try to integrate older people. We have promising co-operations with schools and day care institutions to bring children closer to the sport. On the national level, we are the organizer of a table tennis workshop at the COSL-Spillfest. This event, organized annually and intending to promote all kind of sports in Luxembourg, is very popular and every year several thousand kids participate. 12
