BSB 015 142 Account No 267 930 645 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Eligibility is limited to drivers who are holders of a current A, B or C Grade KA licence. Licence restrictions apply to TaG 125 Restricted Senior Light and Medium. D grade or provisional licence holders are not eligible to enter. Refusal or acceptance of entries is in accordance with General Rules, Chapter 1 Rule 17. The Race/Competition Secretary of the Meeting reserves the right to allocate/change Competition numbers in accordance with the Competition Rules, Chapter 1 Rule 11 j). The promoters reserve the right to abandon, postpone or cancel any event as in accordance with the Rules. Refund of Entry Fee will be in accordance with the Rules. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. MINIMUM ENTRIES (Competition Rules, Chapter 5 Rule 4 l): If less than 5 genuine entries are received to constitute a Class by the listed close of entries, then the Class may NOT be contested. FORMAT OF RACING: Under-subscribed Classes Over-subscribed Classes In accordance with Competition Rules, Chapter 5 Rule 4 q) of the KA Manual and subject to the following amendments with the addition of Heat 4 Grid positions for Heat 4 will consist of the lowest combined points scored from Heats 1, 2 & 3 will start from grid position one (1) and so on. Grid positions for the Final will consist of the lowest combined points scored from Heats 1, 2, 3 & 4 will start from grid position one (1) and so on. One Qualifying Session of 8 Minutes duration. o Grid positions for Qualifying will be determined from the fastest time recorded in the Timed Practice session for each Class or Division on Sunday 30/09/2018 Heat 1 12 Laps Heat 2 12 Laps Heat 3 12 Laps Heat 4 16 Laps Final 20 Laps In accordance with Competition Rules, Chapter 5 Rule 4 r) (Repechage) of the KA Manual. FUEL Control Fuel Will be used at this Meeting and all Classes and Divisions must only use the Control Fuel detailed in these Supplementary Regulations. Control Fuel for use at this Meeting must be purchased from: On the Run - BP Service Station Corner of Hodgson & Port Wakefield Roads, BOLIVAR SA - Southern side of the Whitehorse Inn BP Ultimate 98 PULP ONLY. Control Fuel for the Meeting can be purchased from 29/09/2018 onwards *Proof of purchase receipts for the Fuel must be retained and produced to the Chief Scrutineer, State Technical Inspector or Fuel Tester as and when required. Control Fuel MUST be used from Sunday 30/09/2018 until the conclusion of the Meeting on Monday 1/10/2018. *Random samples of Competitor s Fuel may be taken during the Meeting and tested for conformity to samples of the Control Fuel taken from the supplier on these dates. Competitors are reminded that Fuel tanks and drums should be empty prior to being used for Fuel purchased for this Meeting. TIMETABLE: SOUTHERN GO KART TRACK WILL BE CLOSED FROM MONDAY 24/09/2018 TO FRIDAY 28/09/2018. The facility will be open on Saturday 8:00 am 29/09/2018 for PIT ALLOCATION, SET UP AND PRACTICE. See the Club representative at Race Secretary Office in the Canteen/Training Centre. PRIZES: Trophies will be awarded in accordance with the provisions of Competitions Rules, Chapter 5 Rule 4 u). Trophies will be awarded to 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd place in each Class except Cadet 9 and 12 which will be awarded 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th & 5 th place. 2018 SA Kart Championship Trophies will be presented at the South Australian State Presentation Dinner. GENERAL REGULATIONS KART RETRIEVAL: Pit Crew with trolleys will NOT be given access to the Track during Qualifying and Racing. Retrieval is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Pit Crew must only enter the Track when permitted by the Grid Marshal and then only if wearing a high visibility safety vest in accordance with the Rules. Karts can be retrieved via access through the In/Out Grid only. INSURANCE: Has been effected for this Meeting in accordance with General Rules, Chapter 3 of the 2018 KA Manual. SCRUTINEERING: Scrutineering for this Meeting will be in accordance with Technical Rules, Chapter 6 of the KA Manual. In accordance with the provisions of the Technical Rules, Chapter 6 of the 2018 KA Manual, each Kart shall have affixed to it a correct scrutineering sticker or identifying mark supplied for the Meeting. This signifies that the driver has confirmed their entry for the Meeting and completed a Scrutineering Form relevant to the Entry. As from 30/09/2018, the Grid Marshal / Scrutineers shall not allow any Kart that does not display a correct scrutineering sticker or identifying mark to Practice, Qualify or Race. Failure to comply will result in the Driver being excluded from the Meeting. FRONT FAIRING (Technical Rules, Chapter 1 Rule 8 g) (iii): The Front Fairing Fitment Rules Will Not be used at this Meeting. ENGINE SEALING AND CHASSIS TAGGING: Each engine and Chassis must be sealed and tagged in accordance with the provisions of Technical Rules, Chapter 6. TRANSPONDER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: MYLAPS compatible transponders must be mounted in accordance with Technical Rules, Chapter 1 Rule 8 i) Note: All Karts MUST have fitted and correctly charged and operating transponders for all sessions commencing 30/09/2018 TIMING AND LAP SCORING RECORDING: Will be conducted in accordance with Competition Rules, Chapter 5 Rule 4 j). TYRE POOLING (Tech, Chap 4 Rule 5): Tyre Pooling WILL NOT occur at this meeting. NB - All Competitors are to supply their own Wet Weather Tyres and must present them for marking scanning to the nominated area when directed. Page 7 of 8

VEHICLE / TRAILER ACCESS: Vehicles not required in the paddock must be removed from the paddock area ASAP and before 7:30 am on Sunday 30/09/2018. SECURITY: Security will be provided from 6pm each evening from Saturday 29/09/2018 until close of event Monday 1/10/2018 PIT ALLOCATION: Pit Allocation will be on Saturday 29/09/2018 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 30/09/2018 from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. Pit Allocation bookings will not be taken, first in best dressed. Some areas have been set aside for Southern Go Kart Club Members. TRADE AREAS: Limited trade areas will be made available to Traders on application at the discretion / approval of the Organisers. If Trade Areas are required, please email: Warren - sgkc.race.sec@gmail.com or phone / text - 0432 588 471. CANTEEN: Saturday Open 8:00 am Sunday Open 7:00 am Monday Open 7:00 am The Canteen will close each day at the discretion of the Canteen Manager. FURTHER NOTES: Access to the track is via St Kilda/Robinson Roads due to the closure of Summer Road. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. Used race Tyres can be placed in the trailer situated next to the back gate. No dumping of Fuel will be allowed on site. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards, bicycles and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the event. The Club does not have EFTPOS facilities available trackside. Camping Will be available at the event. Hot showers are Not available. Power is Not available to campers.
