Well the detectorist got real curious! As he followed the rabbit along, he noticed the rabbit was finding all sorts of stuff and even going over places the guy had, and getting stuff he'd missed. This got the detectoist all hot under the collar and he started to harass the bunny hoping he'd make hin leave. "Whatcha doin' Rabbit?" he demanded. The rabbit ignored him and kept on swinging. "Say, I bet you're really a GOOD digger, huh, Bunny?" The rabbit just ignored him and kept swinging along. "Betcha don't even need EARphones do ya? HAHAHAHA!" the man cried, getting closer to the rabbit and beginning to get real obnoxious. The rabbit just put his head down and kept swinging. Finally the detectorist got really mad at being ignored and stepped in front of the bunny to get a better look at the machine the bunny was using. "So, Bunny... what KIND of a detector is THAT? Is it... a CARROT Ace 150? HAHAHAHA!" The animal straightened up and with dignity replied "Please Sir! Anyone can see.. I'm a WHITE Rabbit!" It doesn t matter if you ve been in the club for twenty years or twenty days. You don t need any experience and there will be plenty of people to help you out. We cannot have a club if we can t fill most of these offices. It s as simple as that. Most of these positions only require about 3 hours of your time a month and that time is spent at the club and board meetings. I will attempt to list the club offices, positions, their descriptions, and the approximate commitment time. I.T.T.H.C. Treasure News Page 7 7 Club outing to Heyburn Park on Lake Heyburn on Saturday, September 15 th Bright sunshine, high temperature 90, and cooling water, the club outing to Heyburn Park on Lake Heyburn on Saturday, September 15 th was a another good one. ITTHC had rented the pavillion & with all the trees had plenty of shade for the day. Ended up with about as perfect a day as you could get for the middle of September in Oklahoma! The club supplied hamburgers, hot links, hot dogs, buns, condiments, & chips. Cody Reese handled the job of cooking. Thank you Cody! Thanks to Greg Wicks for bringing the club s grill & tables and storing them for this year s water season. There were 34 members standing in line to chow down on burgers, hot links, hot dogs, and food brought by club members. Thanks to all those bringing the outstanding side dishes and desserts. If you went away hungry at this outing, again it was your own fault. After the big feed there were scattered as evenly as possible 263 tokens in a 40 yards X 70 yards designated area. There were 12 tokens for member donated prizes, and 200 tokens for Mercury Dimes, 31 tokens for Silver Quarters, & 20 tokens for Silver Halves. The tokens were painted 4 color Wheat Cents, painted pulltabs, several painted type coins, painted numbered brass slugs, & painted/ numbered/lettered Gallagher Carbine Civil War Bullets molded using Civil War lead from fired bullets and molded in a Gallagher bullet mold that was found at Battle of Jenkins Ferry Arkansas. Shaun Kucera contributed a few extra items to recover in the form of Eisenhower Dollars, Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollars, & assorted other targets that were scattered over the hunt area. When the start signal was given there were 21 water hunters frothing the water. After 1 hour+ of hunting there was 2 Silver Half token, 1 Silver Quarter token, & 4 Mercury Dime tokens not found. Lee Wierzchowski went back to hunting & Lee found 2 more of the Mercury Dime tokens. Member donated prizes: $5.00 donated by Charly Bohuslavicky won by Cody Reese. $5.00 donated by Doris Bohuslavicky won by Howie Rosser. Walking Liberty Half Dollar donated by Jean & Wally Dick won by Howie Rosser. $5.00 donated by Ken Fanning won by Greg Wicks. $5.00 donated by John (JJ) Freeman won by Wally Dick. $5.00 donated by John Hayworth won by Ken Fanning. Gerber Knife donated Andy & Andrew Istnick won by Ken Fanning. Home Canned Bread & Butter Pickles donated by Howie Rosser won by Wally Dick. $5.00 Walmart Card donated by Bill Rouse won by Wally Dick. $5.00 donated by Greg Wicks won by Wally Dick. $5.00 donated by Greg Wicks won by Lee Wierzchowski. Franklin Half Dollar donated by Lee Wierzchowski won by Jean Dick.

I.T.T.H.C. Treasure News Page 8 Some of the higher totals found were: Bill Rouse 24 Mercury Dimes, 3 Silver Quarter, & 2 Silver Half Dollars. Ken Fanning 16 Mercury Dimes, 5 Silver Quarters, 3 Silver Half Dollars, & 2 prize tokens. Wally Dick 19 Mercury Dimes, 2 Silver Quarters, & 4 prize tokens. John (JJ) Freeman 18 Mercury Dimes, 4 Silver Quarter, & 3 Silver Half Dollars. Bob Avey 15 Mercury Dimes & 3 Silver Quarters. Greg Wicks 12 Mercury Dimes, 1 Silver Quarter, 4 Walking Liberty Half, & 1 prize token. Lee Wierzchowski 12 Mercury Dimes, 2 Silver Quarters, & 2 Walking Liberty Halves. Cody Reese 11 Mercury Dimes, 1 Silver Quarter, & 1 prize token. Eric Slavik 9 Mercury Dimes, 3 Silver Quarters, & 1 Silver Half Dollar. John Hayworth 10 Mercury Dimes & 2 Silver Quarters. Howie Rosser 9 Mercury Dimes, 1 Silver Half Dollar, & 1 prize token. Jean Dick 7 Mercury Dimes, 1 Silver Quarter, 1 Silver Half Dollar, & 1 prize token. And new ITTHC member & first time water hunting Andrew Istnick, 11 years old, found 5 Mercury Dimes & 2 Silver Quarters. Good start Andrew! And Andrew says he is ready for the next hunt. The winner of $25.00 in the 50-50 Raffle was Howie Rosser. Again, one of the main reasons for this type of outing, besides the food of course, is to give non-water hunting members a chance to try their hand at it. Also, the fun and fellowship of being with people that enjoy the same hobby. Again, if you missed this outing, you missed a good one. Don t miss the next one! 8
