3-2-1 MW) at San Diego State (9-4; 5-1 MW) Friday, Oct 16 7 pm PT Mountain West Network SDSU Sports Deck San Diego, California San José State (7-5-2; 5-1 MW) at San Diego State (9-4; 5-1 MW) Sunday, Oct 18 2:30 pm PT Mountain West Network SDSU Sports Deck San Diego, California Storylines - San Diego State returns to SDSU Sports Deck for one final regular-season homestand this week The first-place Aztecs will face Fresno State on Friday at 7 pm PT before playing host to MW co-leader San José State on Sunday (2:30 pm PT), which will double as Senior Day Both games will stream live on GoAztecscom courtesy of the Mountain West Network - Fast-forward past Friday s game to Sunday and San Diego State will honor its three seniors in Tiffany Geer, Ashley Hauke and Melanie Vaughn The trio has helped the Aztecs win 58 games, which is the tied for the third most in a fouryear period in school history The school record is 60 wins from 1996-99, and is trailed closely by the 2011-14 teams, which produced 59 victories - The SDSU senior class is looking to do something no team in Mountain West history has done and that is to win four straight regular-season and tournament titles The Aztecs streak of three consecutive sweeps is matched by only Brigham Young, which first accomplished the feat from 2000-02 This year s MW Championship will be held at SDSU Sports Deck - The Aztecs enter this week s action tied with SJSU atop the league standings thanks to their five-game winning streak San Diego State shut out its fourth opponent in a row when it dismissed Colorado State, 3-0, last Friday The Aztecs shutout streak of 384:12 came to halt, however, when Wyoming scored in the 20th minute en route to a 2-1 win in Laramie on Sunday - In the game vs the Rams, three different Aztecs scored with the first coming early as Hedda Regefalk found the back of the net in the eighth minute off a pass from Jen Rupey Dani DeRosa recorded her second goal, and fifth point, in as many outings with her 32nd-minute score Then to provide the final margin, Milan Moses posted her fifth goal of 2015 in the 49th minute The final two goals were assited by Leah Pruitt - Leah Pruitt continued to rack up the points two days later, this time at Wyoming when she assisted on the first of two Angela Mitchell goals The 12th-minute score was short-lived, however, as the Cowgirls tied the game in the 20th Mitchell later provided the game-winner five minutes later and SDSU was able to prevent Wyoming from knotting the score to pick up the crucial road win - Angela Mitchell leads the Aztecs with a career-high six goals, one ahead of Leah Pruitt and Milan Moses Pruitt, meanwhile, had a team-best nine assists, which ranks fourth nationally The freshman is also fourth in Division I with 069 assists per game - The Aztecs are well into a month where they have had considerable success over the last six seasons Since the 2009 campaign, San Diego State has posted a record of 40-7-3 (830) in October In games at SDSU Sports Deck, the Aztecs are 20-3-3 during the month (827) - Friday s game vs Fresno State will pit two of the higher scoring offenses in the league In conference games only, the
