We had a wonderful holiday season at the lodge with some fun-filled activities for the whole family. Our first Karaoke Contest was such a blast. I felt it was the best competition in years and we re getting ready for the second round. Don't miss it. Again the Seaford Lodge entered the Seaford Christmas Parade. Even though our float didn't win a trophy this year, fun was had by all. We returned to the lodge for hot chocolate and cookies. Brothers & Co-Workers, we want to send out a special Seaford Moose "THANK YOU' to Santa Claus for his visit to the lodge on Breakfast with Santa bringing gifts, candy, and fruit for all the GOOD LITTLE CHILDREN. We were lucky this year as all of the children were extra nice! Brothers & Co-Workers, it is hard to believe how fast this year has gone by and by the middle of this newsletter period, we will be starting our nomination process in February. Be sure to check the newsletter for dates and time. Brothers, you don't how blessed our lodge is to have been able to put such a great group of guys together to be the fine board of officers and chairman for several years. Again, as in the past, we are looking to add your name to the list of volunteers who care about our lodge and are willing to put in the time to make our lodge a success. Brothers, always remember our oath to the Loyal Order of Moose: "A BURDEN HEAVY TO ONE IS BORN LIGHTLY BY MANY. Brothers, YOU are the many!!! AWARD winner this year. Way to go guys! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL YOU DO FOR OUR LODGE Fraternally, Bill Trice III NOTICE Brothers & Co-Workers, the House Committee of the Seaford Moose Family Center #1728, after several meetings and a review, have regretfully decided that due to the cost increases of all of our beverages at our Social Quarters, that we will have to pass on these price increases. We have tried to keep the amount as low as possible to our membership. As of March 1, 2019, all beverages will increase by $.25 across the board. Brother & Co-Workers, this increase will also affect our kitchen. I am sure you have seen the price increase in your own daily shopping. We are basically shopping in the same stores with a few exceptions. Again, we are trying to keep our food cost as low as possible. We will hold these increases until March 1, 2019, when you may see some increases in our food items and dinners. These price increases may vary. We Thank You for Your Support!!! Plarn 2 Sickness & 4 Distress Superbowl 3 Party WOTM News 3 Brothers & Co-Workers, don't forget our editors of our newsletter who spend a lot of time and energy putting our newsletter together, not to mention that some of us may be slow in getting material to them in a timely manner. So please take the time to read your newsletter and when you see them say Thank You for what you do. Brothers & Co-Workers, we want to send out a special Congratulations to two of our brothers. First is our Seaford Moose Lodge #1728 International Moose of the Year, Brother Kevin Greenwood, for his dedication to our lodge. Second is Brother Frank Hamilton, our ARROWHEAD NOMINATIONS TIME! It s time to think about officers and chairmen for the next Moose Year! Nominations will be accepted beginning in February! Think about helping out! It can be very rewarding!
