By mgk I bought this book at the same time I was picking up "Resident Evil 5" and my plan was to start reading "Miles to Go" and then spend the rest of my evening with my new video game. But I have to tell you after just reading the first few pages I could not put this book down. I have never enjoyed a book so much. It took me three hours to read. If you have ever been watching a movie and suddenly you are no longer aware of being in the theatre. That is what this book is like. But even better it is as if Miley Cyrus is sharing a personal letter addressed just to you about her life. There are surprises here that will fascinate and astound you. You talk about facing adversity! She shares her ups and downs, heartaches and heartbreaks, her deep Christian faith and her love for family and friends. She even shares details about her personal downtime e.g. playing "Guitar Hero" on the hard level at least twenty minutes a day. I am not surprised at all to discover that this book is number one on the New York Best Seller's List. I guarantee you whatever you think of Hannah Montana or Miley Stewart you will definitely come to appreciate them more than just TV characters. Without sounding hokey, which I admit this probably does, but I believe God intended for Miley Cyrus to be caste as Hannah Montana. And after reading this book you will understand why. Excellent Book By Book Fanatic My daughter had to read a biographical book as her required reading for summer. Normally she doesnt enjoy reading but I thought since this is someone she likes it would be easy. Sure enough she loved it and gave me no problem to read it. I would recommend it for your child. The book is well written and gives them an insight into the stars life leading up to her stardom.
