Main Ridge PC Newsletter December! PRESIDENT S REPORT This year has been a terrific year! I would like to congratulate all the award winners for 2015. I think we can all agree we have had great rallies and great results both in and outside of the Club. We have also welcomed some fantastic new members this year, and we've seen the completion of the water jump and hoof bath. Next year will be even busier with the chance that the Club may receive some local/federal government grants which, if we're lucky, will kick-start the construction of two all-weather arenas on the Ground. The Club will also host a Horse Trials event in November 2016. We have a lot to do before November with a planned revamp and maintenance program for the cross country course, and training for member families in the arts of marshalling, pencilling and cross country jump judging. I would ask all families to keep as much time as possible free in November as we will need all hands on deck. I would like to thank the committee for their continued support: without them the Club would be lost. If you are keen to join them in giving back to MRPC, I'd welcome you to get in touch with me or come to our next committee meeting in January. Finally I would like to wish you all the very best for the Christmas and New Year period. Please stay safe, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2016 Dean
CHRISTMAS "RALLY" A very big thanks to all who made it to the presentation night on Saturday 19th. You all contributed to making it an enjoyable night. We're also grateful to the Boneo Park staff who went to such trouble to make us feel welcome again. It was a difficult decision to cancel the riding component of the weekend, and disruptive for everybody (especially the organisers), but ultimately vindicated by the weather on the day. Committee would like to thank all members for their support. To those who were unable to attend the event - we missed YOU. Arrangements for refunds etc. will be made in January.!
